ThisprocedureinstallstheIntelRAIDdevicedriveronanewWindows*2003EM64Tsystem.Windows2003automaticallyaddsthedrivertotheregistryandcopiesthedrivertotheappropriatedirectory.

1.StarttheWindowsinstallationbybootingfromtheWindowsCD-ROM.ThesystemBIOSmustsupportbootingfromaCD-ROM.BIOSsettingsmightrequirechangestoallowCD-ROMbooting.Seeyoursystemdocumentation.

2.Presswhenthescreendisplays:'PressF6ifyouneed...'Note:Youmustpressforthesystemtorecognizethenewdriver.

3.Choosetospecifyanadditionaldevicewhenthescreendisplays:'Setupcouldnotdeterminethetypeofoneormoremassstoragedevices...'Note:Ifthisscreenisnotdisplayedasthefirstuserinput,thenpressingwasnotseenbythesetupprogram.Rebootthesystem,andreturntostep2.
