She earned an M.F.A. from Goddard College, where she completed a memoir Mystic Trinities. Her essays have been shortlisted for a Pushcart Prize, 49 th Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction, the Arts and Letters Prize in Creative Nonfiction, the New South Prize.
