2016 was one of the best vintages Anderson Valley has seen, and this single-vineyard Pinot is a great example. Produced by the La Crema winemaking team to be a super high-end restaurant Pinot Noir and they poured extensive expertise and expense into this bottling. They are now getting rid of this label completely at a crazy price, stock up because once this is gone, it's gone.
"Blackberry, cassis and blueberry notes are dark and brooding, with lingering accents of dark chocolate, smoke, tomato leaf and licorice. This has a sink-your-teeth-into-them richness to the tannins."
