What A Friend We Have In Jesus

What a Friend we have in JesusAll our sins and griefs to bear

What a privilege to carryEverything to God in prayer

O what peace we often forfeit,O what needless pain we bear,All because we do not carryEverything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptationsIs there trouble anywhere

We should never be discouragedTake it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful,Who will all our sorrows share

Jesus knows our every weaknessTake it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,Cumbered with a load of care

Precious Saviour, still our refugeTake it to the Lord in prayer

Do thy friends despise, forsake thee,Take it to the Lord in prayer;

In His arms He'll take and shield thee,Thou wilt find a solace there.

Forever With The Lord

“Forever with the Lord!” amen, so let it be!Life from His death is in that word 'Tis

immortality. Here in the body pent, Absent from Him I roam, Yet nightly pitch my

moving tent a day's march nearer home

My father's house on high, Home of my soul, how near at times to faith's foreseeing

eye, Thy golden gates appear! Ah! then my spirit faints, To reach the land I love, The bright inheritance of saints,

Jerusalem above.

“Forever with the Lord!” Forever in His will, the promise of that faithful word,

Lord, here in me fullfill. With You at my right hand, then I shall never fail; Uphold me, Lord, and I shall stand,

Through grace I will prevail.

So when my latest breath shall rend the veil in twain, By death I shall escape from

death, and life eternal gain. Knowing as I am known, how shall I love that word:

And oft repeat before the throne,“Forever with the Lord!”

When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

When I survey the wondrous crossOn which the Prince of glory died,My richest gain I count but loss,

And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,Save in the death of Christ my God!

All the vain things that charm me most,I sacrifice them to His blood.

See from His head, His hands, His feet,Sorrow and love flow mingled down!Did e’er such love and sorrow meet,Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

His dying crimson, like a robe,Spreads o’er His body on the tree;Then I am dead to all the globe,And all the globe is dead to me.

Were the whole realm of nature mine,That were a present far too small;

Love so amazing, so divine,Demands my soul, my life, my all.

When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks eternal, bright, and fair; When the saved of earth

shall gather over on the other shore, And the roll is called up yonder I'll be there.

When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder,

When the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

On that bright and cloudless morning,When the dead in Christ shall rise

And the glory of his resurrection share; When his chosen ones shall gather to,

there home beyond the skies,And the roll is called yonder, I'll be there.

Let me labour for the Master from the dawn till setting sun, Let me talk of all his wonderous love and care;

Then, when all of life is over, and my work on earth is done, And the roll is called up yonder,

I'll be there.

When We All Get To Heaven

Sing the wonderous love of Jesus,Sing His Mercy and His grace;

In the mansions bright and blessedHe'll prepare for us a place.

When we all get to heaven,What a day of rejoicing that will be,

When we all see Jesus,We'll sing and shout the victory.

While we walk the pilgrim pathway,Clouds will overspread the sky;

But when travelling days are over,Not a shadow, not a sigh

Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving everyday;

Just one glimpse of Him in glory,Will the toils of life repay

Onward to the prize before usSoon His beauty we'll behold;

Soon the pearly gates will open,We shall tread the streets of gold.

How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, Consider all the world thy hands

have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow'r throughout the

universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God to Thee,

How great Thou art!How great Thou art! (Repeat)

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing

Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in,That on the cross, my burdens gladly

bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin.

When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation, To take me home, what joy shall fill my heart! Then I shall bow in humble adoration, And there proclaim;

My God how great Thou art.
