Winter Sports

There are many sports that you play in the winter. Here at Flambeau when you're in the elementary, you could participate in wrestling, basketball, and swim. If you like wrestling, they have practices once a week on Monday’s and tournaments are on Saturday’s. If you are interested in basketball there are girls and boys teams. The girl’s start earlier in the year and have practices and tournaments on Saturday’s. Mandy Bratanich is the girl’s coach. The boys start practicing later in the year; their practices are usually on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s. Boy’s basketball tournaments are also on Saturday’s. Mr. Kopacz is going to be the coach this year. Now if you are interested in swimming you practice two to five days a week and meets are on Saturday’s. The swim coach is Deb Loe.

PEANUT BUTTER REINDEER COOKIES

¾ cup peanut butter

1 ¼ cup brown sugar ½ cup shortening

3 tablespoons milk 1 Tablespoon vanilla

1 egg 1 ¾ cup all purpose flour ¾ teaspoon baking soda

¾ teaspoon salt Chocolate Pretzels

M & M’s Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Then mix

liquid together in a separate bowl. Then pour both bowls in the big mixer and mix. Then scoop them out on a tray and shape them like reindeer without antlers. Don’t forget to pre heat oven for

375 degrees. Don’t forget to spray the pan. Cook for 7 or 8 minutes. Then take out your

cookies and two chocolate covered pretzels for antlers and three M & M’s for the eyes and

Puzzles

Taking care of quail is easy, but hard. They need few things, but a lot of it. So here is how to take care of quail!

First of all, you should get a large cage so they can run and fly. They also need a thin layer of dirt to bathe in. Quail, chickens, and llamas bathe in dust to keep pests off of them. You should give them a food bowl instead of pouring their food on the ground. They should have some hay in their pen to keep them warm at night and in winter. From Bobwhite to Gambel’s, quail are wonderful creatures. And with the right equipment and proper care, one can be yours!

The Christmas Thief THE LOREM IPSUMS SUMMER 2016

Once upon a snowy, Christmas night a little girl was in her room and heard a sound, ”What was that? ”she whispered. I think it was just the dishes when they move in the water? Little did she know she was being watched by....SANTA!

Though he was nice and handed out presents on Christmas, on other days he was a worker for the Illuminati! He told me that that night, but that I shouldn’t have done. I went down stairs and he said,” Little girl you must not be up at this time you need sleep.” The little girl just said “NO! Your Santa. I need to know why you make me, make cookies for you and set out milk that just gets spoiled. Why, ok, just why.” “Well young girl you need to chill out ok?” said Santa. You need to be good for this Christmas to get presents and be good because I work for… the president so yeah. Be good little girl, ok?”

That very night Santa stole their couch, T.V., toys, and food. WA HAHAHA I WILL TAKE OVER THE WORLD! The little girl came out of her room and said “Get out of my house you creep!” and he did. And to this day Santa was never naughty ever again and was forced to give presents to this very day. If you learned a lesson it’s don’t go stealing things in other people’s houses or just at home because you’ll get arrested or even hurt.
