Dear Customers, When we began in the sewing machine business, BERNINA was about to introduce the original Bernina 830. It was clearly ahead of our competition both in performance and in ease of use. It was a home run for BERNINA, and they produced a million of them over an 11 year production. We thought, how could they improve on this machine? Fortunately, BERNINA is a forward look- ing company, and they have continued to innovate and inspire. Most of our customers think their model is the "BEST ONE"! Today, we have 4 new additions to the BERNINA family of machines, the New Generation BER- NINA 590, 570QE, 535, and 500 embroidery! These models have the most sought after features in sewing today. The BERNINA Hook! The innovation that produces an even more beautiful stitch, and allows for the biggest bobbin on the market! Already introduced in the 7series, it will be in all BERNINA ma- chines before long. BERNINA Dual Feed! The feature most requested is on 2 of the 5series! (590 and 570QE) It feeds the top and bottom lay- ers of material at the same time and speed. Perfect for quilters and every other sewists, as well, for Smooth, Even Seams! "Of Course, It's a BERNINA!" Excellent Quality of product, performance, and support. It's what we expect, and do our very best to provide. January is a Cleanup Month for us. We have several models of machines making way for the new models. We have Classroom Demos from the Quilt Shops that we support with free machines for their classes. We always have a great se- lection of trade-ins in great shape. All of this means you'll find some Great Bargains in the store right now! 2018 is BERNINAs 125th anniversary! I know that special things are going to happen! Watch this space! It is also the 50th anniversary of my parents opening Ramsey Fabrics in Edmond and becoming BERNINA of OKC in 1971! Designworks Decoded

Because of problems with Windows 10 compatibility and the

unknowns associated, Designworks Decoded has been put on

hold for now. More classes coming in the Spring/Summer!

Update on 7 Series and New 5 Series Oiling

If you have a Bernina 7 series, or a new Bernina 5 series

machine, we are recommending a different way to oil the

machine than is in the manuals. Some customers are hav-

ing black oil come out of the machine when the use the red

dot to oil under the needle plate. To avoid this, we are recommending that you oil the ma-

chine in the same manner as a CB Hook (just like the 3 series or the older 5 series) ma-

chines. You will remove the hook, and oil the hook race like a classic sewing machine. You

may have to oil more often than you did before, but this will prevent gunk from getting

into your reservoir.

This is an updated video on cleaning and oiling your 7 series machine.
