    Set up your product

    Pair your frst Apple device

    1. Turn on the Solar Keyboard.

    2. Press the Bluetooth connect button on

    the back o the Solar Keyboard. Thelight on the three Bluetooth keys blinkast blue.

    3. Press a Bluetooth key to assign your rstApple device to that key:

    The light on the selected keycontinues to blink blue.

    The Solar Keyboard is discoverable or3 minutes.

    4. Complete Bluetooth pairing on your Apple device:

    Mac OS X:

    a. Go to System Preerences > Bluetooth.b. Click the Setup new device (+)

    button, and ollow the on-screeninstructions.

    c. Choose Logitech K760 rom thedevice list.

    d. Click Continue.

    Apple iOS (iPad or iPhone):

    a. In Settings, choose General >Bluetooth, and then turn onBluetooth.

    b. Choose Logitech K760 rom theDevices menu.

    Note: I your Apple device requests a PIN, enter the code using only the Solar Keyboard.

    The Solar Keyboard and your Apple device are now paired. The light on theBluetooth key you have selected turns blue or 10 seconds.

    Pair or reassign a Bluetooth key to another Apple device

    Pair up to three compatible Apple devices with the Solar Keyboard.

    1. Make sure the Solar Keyboard is on.2. Press the Bluetooth connect button.

    The lights on the Bluetooth keys rapidlyblink blue.

    3. Press a Bluetooth key to assign yourApple device to that key. For example,i you already paired an Appledevice to Bluetooth key 1, press the

    continues to blink blue.

    The Solar Keyboard is discoverable or3 minutes.

    4. Go to Set up your product and ollow

    step 4 to complete Bluetooth pairing.Note: Ater you press the Bluetooth connectbutton, the lights on the Bluetooth keys rapidlyblink blue. All three Bluetooth keys can beassigned or reassigned, and the Solar Keyboardis discoverable or 3 minutes.

    Switching among paired Apple devices

    1. To select an Apple device to use, pressthe Bluetooth key (1, 2, or 3) associatedwith it.

    2. The light on the selected Bluetoothkey blinks blue slowly to show it isconnecting. Then it turns solid blue or3 seconds to conrm that the Bluetoothconnection has been made. For example,

    i an iPad is paired with the Bluetooth 2key, press that key to use the iPad withthe Solar Keyboard.

    Note: Only one Apple device can be active ata time.

    Check the batteriesThe Solar Keyboard needs light to charge its internal batteries. Six hours a day o typical

    room light is recommended.To check battery power:

    1. Turn on the Solar Keyboard.

    2. Press the Battery Check (F8) key:

    I the Status light ashes green, thebatteries have sufcient charge.

    I the Status light ashes red ordoesnt ash, recharge the batteries.

    To recharge the batteries, place the SolarKeyboard in bright room light or directsunlight or an hour or more.

    Note: You can use the Solar Keyboard while itcharges.

    Troubleshooting

    Keyboard not working

    Slide the On/O switch let to O thenright to On.

    Press the Battery Check key. I theBattery Status light ashes red orgives no response, try using the SolarKeyboard in a room with more light.For more inormation, see Check

    the batteries. Restart your Apple device.

    Go to Bluetooth settings on your Appledevice to check i Logitech K760 ispresent. I it is, remove it. Then ollowsteps 24 in Pair your rst Apple

    device to redo Bluetooth pairing.

    Mission Control (F4 key) is not

    working in Mac OS X v10.7 (Lion) To restore Keyboard Shortcuts in Mac OS

    X v10.7 (Lion), go to System Preerences> Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts >Mission Control > Restore Deaults.

    Mission Control (F4 key) is notworking in Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard)

    or Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard)

    This eature only works with Mac OS Xv10.7 (Lion).

    You can reassign the Mission Controlkey to use Expos. To do this, go toSystem Preerences > Keyboard >

    Keyboard Shortcuts > Expos & Spaces.Double click on the current assignmentor Expos and press the MissionControl key.

    Battery disposal at product end of life

    1. Turn over the Solar Keyboard.

    2. Pry o the 2 larger rubber eet.

    3. Remove the screws that were under the

    rubber eet.

    4. Remove the battery compartment cover.

    5. Remove the batteries.

    6. Dispose o your product and its batteries

    according to local laws.
