Quick Installation Guide

This guide will lead you through the basic steps needed to install the Belkin Wireless USB Hub. For further information or greater detail regarding installation, please refer to the Belkin User Manual for this product.

Setup for XP Users 2

1. Insert the Belkin driver-installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. After a few moments, the setup application should appear on your computer screen.

Note: If the setup application does not appear, double-click “My Computer”, and then click your CD-drive icon. This will load the setup-applications main page.

2. Click “Install driver” and choose either 32bit or 64bit then follow the prompts to complete the software-install process.

3. a. Connect the power supply to the Hub. b. Attach the mini-USB cable to the mini-USB port on the side of the Hub and the other end to your computer’s built-in USB port (Fig. 1). This will allow your computer to recognize the Hub.

4. Wait approximately one minute for security to become enabled. A prompt will indicate that the security setup is complete (Fig. 2).

5. Once this process is complete, unplug and remove the mini-USB cable from the Hub and computer. This cable is needed only on the first installation. Store the USB cable for another computer installation if desired.

6. Connect the Wireless USB Adapter to your computer’s USB port. Windows will automatically find and load drivers to complete installation (Fig. 3).

7. Plug your USB devices into the Hub and access them wirelessly (Fig. 4).

Now you can print, play music, scan, download photos and burn CDs from anywhere in the same room, up to 30 feet away, without the hassle of connecting cables. With the Belkin Wireless USB Hub, you have the freedom to roam and stay connected.

1. Insert the Belkin driver-installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. After a few moments, the setup application should appear on your computer screen.

Note: If the setup application does not appear, double-click “My Computer”, and then click your CD-drive icon. This will load the setup-applications main page.

2. Click “Install driver” and choose either 32bit or 64bit then follow the prompts to complete the software-install process.

3. Double-click the “Wireless USB Control Center” icon found in the Windows system tray, found at the bottom-right corner of the Windows desktop.

4. a. Connect the power supply to the Hub. b. Attach the mini-USB cable to the mini-USB port on the side of the Hub and the other end to your computer’s built-in USB port (Fig. 1). This will allow your computer to recognize the Hub.

5. Wait approximately one minute for security to become enabled. A prompt will indicate that the security setup is complete (Fig. 2).

7. Once this process is complete, connect the Wireless USB Adapter to your computer’s USB port. Windows will automatically find and load drivers to complete installation (Fig. 3).

8. You can now plug your USB devices into the Hub and access them wirelessly (Fig. 4).

1. Insérez le CD d’installation des pilotes dans le lecteur de CD-ROM. Après quelques instants, le programme d’installation apparaît à l’écran.

Remarque :S’il n’apparaît pas, cliquez deux fois sur « My Computer [Poste de travail] », puis cliquez sur l’icône du lecteur de CD-ROM. La page principale du programme d’installation apparaît.

2. Cliquez sur « Install driver [Installer le pilote] », puis choisissez 32 bits ou 64 bits. Suivez ensuite les instructions à l’écran pour terminer l’installation.

3. a. Branchez le bloc d’alimentation au hub. b. Branchez le câble mini-USB au port mini-USB sur le hub, et l’autre

extrémité au port USB de votre ordinateur (Fig. 1). Ceci permet à l’ordinateur de reconnaître le hub.

4. Patientez environ une minute pour que la sécurité soit activée. Une fenêtre vous indique que la configuration de la sécurité est terminée (Fig. 2).Fig. 2

5. Après que ce processus soit terminé, débranchez le câble mini-USB du hub et de l’ordinateur. Ce câble n’est nécessaire que pour la première installation. Conservez le câble USB pour l’installation sur un autre ordinateur, si désiré.

6. Branchez l’adaptateur sans fil USB au port USB de votre ordinateur. Windows trouve et charge automatiquement les pilotes, pour terminer l’installation (Fig. 3).

7. Branchez vos périphériques USB au hub. Vous pouvez accéder à ceux-ci sans fil (Fig. 4).

Configuration sur PC portable ou de bureau

Désormais, vous pouvez imprimer, écouter de la musique, numériser, télécharger des photos et graver des CD de partout dans la même pièce, dans un rayon de 10 mètres, sans devoir brancher un seul câble. Grâce au Hub USB sans fil Belkin, vous êtes libre de vous déplacer tout en restant connecté.

Installation für Benutzer von XP 2

1. Legen Sie die CD mit der Treibersoftware von Belkin in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein. Nach wenigen Augenblicken erscheint das Installationsprogramm auf dem Bildschirm. Hinweis: Ist dies nicht der Fall, doppelklicken Sie auf „Arbeitsplatz”, und klicken Sie dann auf das CD-ROM-Symbol. Dadurch wird die Hauptseite des Installationsprogramms geladen.

2. Klicken Sie auf „Install driver” (Treiber installieren) und wählen Sie entweder 32 Bit oder 64 Bit. Folgen Sie dann den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm, um den Software-Installationsvorgang abzuschließen.

3. a. Schließen Sie das Netzteil an den Hub an. b. Schließen Sie das Mini-USB-Kabel an den Mini-USB-Anschluss an der Seite des Hubs und das andere Ende an den USB-Anschluss am Computer an (Abb. 1). Dadurch wird dem Computer die Erkennung des Hubs ermöglicht.

4. Warten Sie ungefähr eine Minute, bis die Sicherheitsfunktion aktiviert wird. Wenn die Sicherheitsfunktion installiert ist, erscheint eine

5. Ziehen Sie das Mini-USB-Kabel am Computer und am Hub ab, wenn dieser Vorgang abgeschlossen ist. Dieses Kabel wird nur bei der ersten Installation benötigt. Sie können das USB-Kabel für eine weitere Computerinstallation aufbewahren.

6. Schließen Sie den Kabellosen USB-Adapter an den USB-Anschluss des Computers an. Windows sucht und lädt automatisch die richtigen Treiber, um die Installation abzuschließen (Abb. 3).

7. Schließen Sie Ihre USB-Geräte an den Hub an. Dann können Sie über eine Funkverbindung auf sie zugreifen (Abb. 4).

Jetzt können Sie aus einer Entfernung von bis zu 10 Metern drucken, Musik anhören, scannen, Fotos herunterladen, CDs brennen - egal wo Sie sich in einem Raum befinden. Das Anschließen von Kabeln bleibt Ihnen dabei erspart. Mit dem Kabellosen USB-Hub von Belkin haben Sie bequemen Zugriff auf Ihre Geräte - ohne Einschränkung Ihrer Bewegungsfreiheit.

des Hubs und das andere Ende an den USB-Anschluss am Computer an (Abb. 1). Dadurch wird dem Computer die Erkennung des Hubs ermöglicht.

5. Warten Sie ungefähr eine Minute, bis die Sicherheitsfunktion aktiviert wird. Wenn die Sicherheitsfunktion installiert ist, erscheint eine entsprechende Meldung (Abb. 2).

7. Wenn dieser Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, schließen Sie den Kabellosen USB-Adapter an den USB-Anschluss des Computers an. Windows sucht und lädt automatisch die richtigen Treiber, um die Installation abzuschließen. (Abb. 3).

1. Plaats de installatie-cd in uw cd-romstation. Binnen enkele seconden verschijnt de installatie-applicatie op uw beeldscherm.

Opmerking: Als de installatie-applicatie niet verschijnt, dubbelklik dan op “My Computer” (Deze computer) en vervolgens op het pictogram van het cd-romstation. Hierdoor wordt de hoofdpagina van de installatie-applicatie geladen.

2. Klik op “Install driver” (Stuurprogramma installeren), kies 32 of 64 bit en volg de prompts om de installatieprocedure van de software te voltooien.

3. a. Sluit de voedingsadapter aan op de hub. b. Sluit het ene uiteinde van de mini-USB-kabel aan op de mini-USB-

poort aan de zijkant van de hub en sluit het andere uiteinde aan op de USB-poort van uw computer. (Afb. 1). Dit stelt de computer in staat de hub te herkennen.

5. Zodra dit proces is afgerond, koppelt u de mini-USB-kabel los van de hub en de computer. Deze kabel heeft u namelijk alleen nodig bij de eerste installatie. Bewaar de USB-kabel voor het geval u de installatie later ook op een andere computer wilt uitvoeren.

6. Sluit de draadloze USB-adapter aan op de USB-poort van uw computer. Windows zal automatisch de stuurprogramma’s vinden en laden om de installatie te kunnen voltooien (Afb. 3).

1. Plaats de installatie-cd in uw cd-romstation. Binnen enkele seconden verschijnt de installatie-applicatie op uw beeldscherm.

7. Zodra het proces is afgerond, sluit u de draadloze USB-adapter aan op de USB-poort van uw computer. Windows zal automatisch de stuurprogramma’s vinden en laden om de installatie te kunnen voltooien (Afb. 3).

1. Inserte el CD de instalación del controlador de Belkin incluido en la unidad de CD-ROM. Después de unos momentos aparecerá en la pantalla de su ordenador la aplicación de instalación.

Nota: si no aparece la aplicación de instalación, haga doble clic en “My Computer” (Mi PC) y después en el icono de su unidad de CD. De esta forma se cargará la página principal de la aplicación de instalación.

2. Haga clic sobre “Instalar el driver” y escoja entre 32bit o 64bit, luego siga las instrucciones para completar el proceso de instalación del software.

3. a. Conecte el suministro de alimentación al hub. b. Conecte el cable mini-USB al puerto mini-USB del lateral del hub y el otro extremo al puerto USB integrado en su ordenador (Fig. 1). De este modo el ordenador reconocerá el hub.

4. Espere un minuto aproximadamente para que la seguridad se active. Se le indicará mediante un aviso que la instalación de la seguridad ha finalizado (Fig. 2).Fig. 2

5. Una vez que el proceso haya finalizado, desenchufe y retire el cable mini-USB del hub y del ordenador. Este cable sólo se necesita para la primera instalación. Guarde el cable USB para ulteriores instalaciones.

6. Conecte el adaptador USB inalámbrico al puerto USB de su ordenador. Windows buscará y cargará los controladores de manera automática para completar la instalación (Fig. 3).

7. Enchufe los dispositivos USB al hub y acceda a los mismos de forma inalámbrica (Fig. 4).

Instalación en ordenador de sobremesa o portátil

Ahora puede imprimir, escuchar música, escanear, descargar fotos y quemar CDs desde cualquier parte de la habitación, a una distancia de 9 metros como máximo, sin el engorro de tener que conectar un montón de cables. Gracias del hub USB inalámbrico de Belkin, usted tendrá libertad para desplazarse y permanecer conectado.

1. Inserte el CD de instalación del controlador de Belkin incluido en la unidad de CD-ROM. Después de unos momentos aparecerá en la pantalla de su ordenador la aplicación de instalación.

4. a. Conecte el suministro de alimentación al hub. b. Conecte el cable mini-USB al puerto mini-USB del lateral del hub y el otro extremo al puerto USB integrado en su ordenador (Fig. 1). De este modo el ordenador reconocerá el hub.

Questa guida ha lo scopo di fornirvi le informazioni fondamentali per eseguire l’installazione dell’hub USB wireless Belkin. Nel caso si desiderino ulteriori informazioni riguardo all’installazione, far riferimento al manuale d’uso di questo prodotto Belkin.

1.Inserire il CD per l’installazione del driver nell’unità CD-ROM. Dopo qualche secondo, sullo schermo del computer compare l’applicazione di configurazione.

Nota bene: se l’applicazione di configurazione non dovesse comparire, fare doppio clic su “Risorse del computer” e fare clic sull’icona corrispondente all’unità CD-ROM. In tal modo si carica la pagina principale dell’applicazione di configurazione.

2. Fare clic su “Install drive” (installazione drive) e scegliere 32 o 64 bit, quindi seguire le istruzioni a video per completare la procedura di installazione.

3. a. Collegare l’alimentatore all’hub. b. Collegare un’estremità del cavo mini-USB alla porta mini-USB sul lato dell’hub e l’altra estremità alla porta USB del computer(Fig. 1). In questo modo il computer rileva l’hub.

4. Attendere circa un minuto affinché la protezione venga abilitata. Un messaggio indica che il processo di configurazione della protezione è terminato (Fig. 2).Fig. 2

5. Una volta completata la configurazione, scollegare e rimuovere il cavo mini-USB dall’hub e dal computer. Il cavo è necessario solamente durante la prima installazione. Qualora lo si desideri, conservare il cavo USB per un’ installazione futura.

6. Collegare l’Adattatore USB wireless alla porta USB del computer. Windows individua e carica automaticamente i driver per terminare l’installazione (Fig. 3).

7. Collegare i dispositivi USB all’hub ed accedere ad essi in modalità wireless (Fig. 4).

Installazione su portatile o desktop

Ora è possibile stampare, ascoltare musica, scannerizzare, scaricare foto e masterizzare CD ovunque all’interno della stessa stanza, fino a 10 m di distanza, senza doversi preoccupare di collegare cavi. L’hub wireless Belkin offre la libertà di aumentare la copertura wireless rimanendo collegati.

6. Una volta terminata la procedura, collegare l’Adattatore USB wireless alla porta USB del computer. Windows individua e carica automaticamente i driver per terminare l’installazione (Fig. 3).
