Principal’s Message Farewell and happy retirement Mrs Tolhurst! Jann has made the difficult decision to retire from the 12/12/18. Jann has worked tirelessly as teacher, reading recovery teacher and as a Learning and Support Interventionist. The depth of knowledge and dedication Jann has shown to our students in developing their literacy skills will be greatly missed by all at Wirreanda.

Jann has supported so many teachers, students and their families over her years in public education and most recently here at WPS.

Deputy Principal’s Message Books for Babies Miss Young presented a book to Lily Holliday for her new baby sister, Isabella, at Monday morning’s assembly. This will be the last ‘Books for Babies’ presentation for 2018 however we look forward to continuing this next year when there are new additions to Wirreanda families. Presentation Day Assembly The Presentation Day Assembly will be held on Friday 7 December, starting at 9:45am. We set aside 2 seats for the parents/family of the prize winners; however there should be some spare seating available for parents and carers who wish to attend this event. Christmas Concert There will be a Christmas themed concert on Monday 17 December commencing at 12:00pm in the COLA. There will be singing, dancing, drumming and a few surprises!

Students may wear their Christmas clothes to join in with the fun. Parents and visitors are invited and encouraged to join us. Classes will be holding their class parties after the Concert.
