Like many of you, Bradley Hartmann grew up in the LBM industry. In 2011 he started his own business helping lumber and building material firms eliminate the frustration, confusion, stress, and lost time associated with selling to builders.

Educational Events & Featured SpeakersLeading and Managing Millennials WorkshopWhile there is broad consensus that different generations—Baby Boomers, Gen-Xers, and Millennials—see the world differently, the meaningful questions are: To what degree? and Why? In partnership with Purdue University and the University of Denver, LBM consultant Bradley Hartmann led an intergenerational, industry specific study to evaluate how each generation views themselves—and the other generations. The results and recommendations will entertain and enlighten, enabling your multigenerational team to collaborate more effectively.

Behind Your Back WorkshopHow many times do you hear the “P.I.T.H.” excuse - “Your Price is to High”? Was that really the reason you didn’t get the sale? During the Behind Your Back Workshop your team will participate in discussions, exercises, and collaborations to ensure they know the difference between how you sell and how Purchasing Managers buy.

The Skeptical Lumberman’s Guide to Social MediaBradley Hartmann and his team spent three years researching how the Top 100 LBM dealers have been creating digital content—and how they’ve been sharing that content on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Houzz—to establish their expertise and build trust with prospects and customers. Join Bradley as he shares how LBM leaders are using social media to leverage their businesses.

Service Excellence – Enhance Your Company’s ReputationEvery team member has the opportunity to enhance your company’s reputation. When face-to-face with the customer, each person represents the whole organization. The key is to make sure each interaction earns a ringing endorsement. Rob Bell will share the importance of listening, choosing positive words, the importance of body language and five steps you can take to turn service breakdowns into loyalty-building opportunities.

TeamWork Makes the DreamWork – Supporting & Encouraging Your TeamIs your organization a good place to work or a GREAT PLACE TO WORK? Great places to work start with great teams. Great teams are made up of professionals who know that they are successful only by helping each other succeed. When we all do a little, we all get a lot. Learn from service expert, Rob Bell, how to light a fire under your team members and the importance of everyone carrying the torch to help make a difference.

Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in leadership roles, customer service, and training, Rob Bell makes it simple, clear and FUN to improve customer service and gain leadership skills. His presentations are high-energy and feature real-life anecdotes.

Future Lumber Leaders RoundtableHave you taken on a leadership role in your company? If so, then don’t miss the Future Lumber Leaders Roundtable meeting. Join fellow up-and-coming LBM business leaders as they spend the morning sharing ideas and discussing business strategies on a variety of topics.
