THEATER 310 Join us for a special conversation with Columbia College Chicago’s Assistant Pro- fessor, Carolina Posse as she surveys significant Colombian films that explore topics like its country's cultural history. For this purpose, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia (through the Consulate General of Co- lombia in Chicago) we will present the Camera d’Or 2015 winner at Cannes Festi- val, the Colombian film Land and Shade directed by Andrés Acevedo. Sponsored by the Office of International Student Affairs. Guest speakers, Carolina Posse courtesy of Jesus Macarena-Avila's course: "LATIN AMERICAN ART, LITERATURE AND MUSIC". Carolina Posse is an award winning media producer and educator. She served as Programming Di- rector of the Chicago Latino Film Festival and Curator for Mostra Film Series.
