Teacher Training Centre is a leading institution providing in-
service training and professional development for the teaching staff, being the
promoter of change and innovation required by the pre-university educational
reform.
CCD promotes innovation and development within the context
of continuing the educational reform in Romania and to provide
the framework for the personal and professional development of
faculty and the staff in the secondary education.
The Teacher Training Centre (CCD) has enhanced its activity through the experience acquired for more than 100 years, by applying best practices and modern techniques.
Since 1903 CCD has been a benchmark of society’s cultural and social development. In Romania the educational field was the first to apply lifelong learning consciously and systematically for over 100 years.
Organizational aims: to strengthen the role of the CCD as a
vital centre of reform, consultancy and information through a variety of activities
to organise training courses covering all curriculum areas in order to meet the needs of teachers and staff involved in education
to develop national and international projects and programs
to strengthen and expand the network of trainers and collaborators of the CCD
to create and produce educational software

Centre works in partnership with various institutions
including academic societies, libraries,
government organisations and NGOs in Romania and
abroad.
Teacher Training Center provides training, research, formal and
informal activities for adult learners through a various range of
educational and training programs. All these are accredited by the
Romanian Ministry of Education.
