Meet our New Cheer VP Lori Sozio is thrilled to begin
her new position with the
WJW-WJT organization.
Lori’s cheerleading journey
began many years ago, with
cheering for youth football
teams, high school teams, col-
lege teams, and a season of
semi-pro. She began her
coaching career at Hilton High
School, where she coached
many wonderful cheerleaders
for five seasons. She is ec-
static to begin working with
the wonderful cheer coaches
and the many smiling, enthusi-
astic cheerleaders, in early
August. She has clinics
planned for our coaches, so
that they can begin to imple-
ment a program that the girls
will remember for years to
come. The number one goal
of the season…HAVE FUN!
Cheer Starts Here! The WJW-WJT Cheer Lead-ership Team has been work-ing diligently, during the off-season, to redefine the or-ganization’s cheer philoso-phy. This season, we will be integrating adult coaches to assist with supervision and responsibility of the cheer-leaders, while the high school coaches will spend their time working on creativity of dances and cheers. This new
philosophy will allow the cheerleaders to work on cheers, dances, stunting and tumbling in a structured envi-ronment. Our teams would not be complete without the assistance of our mothers that volunteer to be team manag-ers. We cannot thank all of our volunteers enough; with your continued commitment to our organization, this will be our year for cheer!

We are very excited to an-
nounce that we are going to
be expanding one of our
cheerleading squads. The C
team has close to 50 girls
registered and we will be
having two C cheer competi-
tion squads. We love that
so many of our families enjoy
our program and are sharing
this experience with their
friends.

How it Works: WJW-WJT is able to avoid
significant increases to registration fees by
asking families to fundraise for a portion of
the fees. Families may opt to ‘buy-out’ of
their fundraising commitment at the time of
registration, while others appreciate the
ability to pay only the registration fee and
commit to selling Delta Sonic tickets to satisfy
the remainder. This is on an individual basis
per player/cheerleader and is different from
other league/team fundraising efforts that
will occur throughout the year.
Tackle Football/Cheer are required to sell a minimum of 15 tickets per participant.
Flag Football/Flag Cheer are required to sell a minimum of 6 tickets per participant.
-OR– You may elect to do the buy-out option
The buy-out option is $85 for Tackle Football/Cheer and $30 for Flag Football/Flag Cheer.
Want to change to the Buyout option? Simply email: [email protected] then pay online via credit card.
