2016 Election Meeting. Have you heard or beenasked questions about Israel, the Peace Process,
the Settlements, etc., which you couldn't answer? To get the answers, be sure to email questions tome at [email protected]
2. To give you a sense of the urgency to respondto the delegitimization assault currently going onagainst Israel, please read the words of SyedFarook's father: “I told him he had to stay calmand be patient because in two years Israel willnot exist anymore. Geopolitics is changing:Russia, China and America don’t want Jews thereanymore. They are going to bring the Jews backto Ukraine …,” Sayed Farook said. The challengefor all of us who love Israel is to prepareourselves for her defense! If you are interested inlearning and doing more let me know.
3. Did you see the good news about PresidentCarter and who made it possible? "An Israeli-tested drug that tackles cancer throughsophisticated manipulations of the body’s naturalimmune system was key in helping rid former USpresident Jimmy Carter of life-threatening tumors
that developed after he was diagnosed withmelanoma earlier this year."Times of Israel 12/8/15

MEMBERSHIP EVENT:
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S
Dear Women’s League Members,
I hope you all had a nice Hanukkah and are preparingfor the upcoming year. I can't believe 2015 is coming toa close and we will be ringing in 2016! The Women'sLeague of TBS has accomplished so many great thingsin 2015 and we are looking forward to what 2016 willbring us.
One of our accomplishments was our AnnualMaccabee Market Event. It was an afternoon filled withshopping, kids crafts, entertainment, delicious food, and tasting some decadent desserts submitted by ourmembers for the upcoming cookbook we are puttingtogether.
I wanted to recognize and thank the women who put onthis event. The Co-Chairs were Marsha Cohen,Melanie Greenberg, Sharon Lancz and Kim Memar. Ialso would like to thank Lillian Radomsky and herKitchen Crew who worked so hard to prepare andserve the food. Lastly, to the extraordinary Women'sLeague members that volunteered that day to makeour event a success. If you didn't attend, you missedout on a wonderful afternoon.
Next, was our Annual Paid Up Membership Event
chaired by Carole Kainen and Karen Morris-Mulligan.What a great morning it was. This year’s theme was"Breakfast at Tiffany's". We had a costume jewelryexchange. It was fun and touching to hear the storiesfrom our members of where their pieces of jewelrycame from. Also, the WLTBS Kitchen Krew outdidthemselves again!
Save the date for Janurary 4, 2016, as we will have ourannual Dinner with Friends event. This year we willmeet at Carrabba’s on W. Charleston. See p. 1 fordetails.
We are still in the process of gathering names ofWomen’s League Members who have a childattending college away from home. We have a programcalled K.I.T. (Keep In Touch). This program keepsyour college student connected with Temple BethSholom and the Jewish faith. Throughout the year wesend them a little something for the Jewish holidays.
