During my study abroad program in London, I worked at a leading product and service innovation consultancy called PDD in their research and marketing depart-ments. They trusted me to help them with their big-name customers and important projects. I did quality work and I was really proud of the final outcomes. I met amazing people from all over the world, learned how to think ‘outside of the box’ with a great internship and created memories that will last a lifetime. I definitely feel my internship abroad launched my career. It helped me get another marketing internship and then my posi-tion at Career and Student Employment Services (WMU), where I worked for over a year. The experi-ence of interning in London was worth its weight in gold, because even though you build knowledge in college it’s not the same as what you learn actually working in a business. I also learned a lot about myself. I strongly recommend that every student study abroad!
