Maintenance Oil natural and white may by used for all

oiled surfaces and is especially suitable for the regular

maintenance of wood surfaces.

Before a new fl oor is taken into use it is recommended to

buff it – both industrially oiled fl oors and residentially oiled

fl oors. The fi nal buffi ng provides a hard-wearing surface

and may take place either by hand or with machine. Oiled

fl oors should be maintained regularly – normally once a

year, but more often in the case of fl oors exposed to extre-

mely hard wear.

1 Clean the fl oor with 125 ml Wood Cleaner mixed into

5 litre water. Leave the fl oor to dry for at least 8 hours.

The fl oor must be completely dry.

2 Shake the container carefully. Apply approx. 100 ml

oil per 4 m2 with pad, paint roller, cotton cloth or use

polishing machine for large surfaces.

3 It is important that the Maintenance Oil is carefully

polished into the wood. Continue polishing until the

wood appears saturated and the surface looks uniform.

4 Wipe the fl oor with clean, dry cotton cloths before pro-

ceeding with the next section of fl oor to be fi nished.

The fl oor should not appear wet and there should not

be any excess oil left on the surface after polishing.

Continue in sections untill the fl oor has been fi nished.

When polished with polishing machine the fl oor will be

pre-hardened after approx. 4 hours at 20° C and may

cautiously be taken into use. Manually polished fl oors

may be taken into use after 24 hours. The surface is

fully hardened after 24 hours. Do not expose the fl oor

to water during the hardening time.

A polishing machine with beige/

white polishing pad.

Paintroller and cotton cloths.

Clean tools with Solvent.

Please notice!!

Risk of self-ignition! Due to the risk

of self-ignition it is important that

sanding dust and oil wetted cloths

are soaked in water and disposed

of in a tightly closed container

after use.

Natural Soap is suitable for the regular cleaning and for the

protection of all wood fl oors. Natural Soap Natural is used

for darker wood types, whereas Natural Soap White is used

for lighter fl oors, in order to add extra white pigements to

preserve the light nuance. Natural Soap is also suitable for

the basic treatment of lye treated fl oors.

Result

Cleaning with Natural Soap removes dirt and provides the

wood with a protective layer at the same time. Thus Natu-

ral Soap has both cleaning and maintaining properties and

treatment with soap is preferred to one with oil.
