    Location - Dwarka Expressway

    5

    Dwarka Expressway also known as the Northern Peripheral Road (NPR)is being undertaken

    by the Delhi and Gurgaon administrations, once complete it will cut down travel time betweenthe two states drastically.

    The Dwarka Expressway will be aneight-lane 150-metre wide and 18km long expressway,

    making it one of India's widest roads at 150 meters. It will be double the width of the current

    Delhi-Gurgaon expressway which is 75 meters wide.

    The Dwarka Expressway willconnect RTR crossing in Dwarka

    , Delhi to village Kherki Daula on

    NH-8 (near Manesar toll plaza).

    Both Southern Peripheral Road and Northern Peripheral Road (Dwarka Expressway) willform a

    ring around Gurgaonallowing long distance inter-city and inter-state vehicular traffic tobypass

    the current Gurgaon expressway (NH8).

    Development of infrastructure projects like a New Campus of Ambedkar University being

    developed in Dwarka, an 18 hole golf course coming up in Dwarka Phase II, and a proposed ITpark in Dwarka Phase II, will further escalate the real estate prices of the area.

    Due to proximity to national highways, metro connectivity and the International airport, the

    Indian Government has announced a new diplomatic enclave in Dwarka with at least 39

    diplomatic missions to be based out of the new enclave, hence making it a prime real estate

    destination.
