WOODWARD TAHOE is the newest location in the Camp Woodward family, which has been hosting the most action-packed summer camps for over 40 years. Snow or sunshine, we have the best parks, a one-of-a-kind indoor facility and visiting pros who will make sure you leave camp with new tricks up your sleeve.

We operate eight weeks of co-ed residential summer camp for youth age 7-17, plus one week specially designed for college students and another week focused on “Minis” who are age 7-9. We offer programs for snowboard, freeski, skateboard, BMX freestyle & MTB freestyle, scooter, and digital media.

LOCATION Perched atop the beautiful Donner Summit, Woodward Tahoe is located at Boreal Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe, California. Woodward Tahoe is minutes from the town of Truckee, 45 minutes from Reno, 90 minutes from Sacramento and only 3 hours from beautiful San Francisco.

HEALTH & WELLNESSWoodward Tahoe has a training room staffed by Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists as well as an infirmary staffed by Nurses and Mountain Patrol. Our goal is to keep everyone healthy and feeling good while at camp.

FOOD & LODGINGThe Mess Hall provides plenty of healthy, well-balanced, tasty food, prepared from fresh ingredients in a clean and professional kitchen. Campers stay in The Bunkhouse, which offers dorm-style rooms with a maximum of 11 other campers around the same age and usually in the same sport. Each room has a private bathroom and shower. Counselors, who are at least 18 years old, stay in the bunkrooms and are available around the clock.

MOONDOE’S CAFÉ & CAMP STOREMoondoe’s Café is snack heaven! Our Café is open daily for scrumptious food, drinks and snacks as well as a lounge for relaxing. This is also where you can purchase our stylish logo wear, water bottles and any essential items you may have left at home.

Indoor Facilities

When you’re ready to catch some air, take it to the LAUNCH PAD . Start small and work your way up to our two-story drop in. Hit the foam side first and when your trick is dialed, move on over to our Resi landing that is more forgiving than concrete or snow, but gives you the ability to land and roll away from all your tricks.

We have a brand new PUMP TRACK this year with return quarters at both ends and tons of rollers in between to get you pumping and soaring to new heights.

SUMMER TERRAIN PARK: Get stoked on the private park built each week just

for the campers, accessed by a quad chairlift. Woodward Tahoe’s park staff dials in

features for skiers and riders, beginner to pro. Ride the same high-caliber terrain park

Boreal Mountain Resort offers during winter, only now it’s all yours!

EASTERN FRONT

EASTERN FRONT: Rails of all heights, boxes, many pads, and quarter pipes to

keep you going back for more. The Eastern Front is the perfect spot to play SKATE,

session a rail or start small and work your way up on a variety of different sized

quarter pipes.

THE PATH THE TRENCHES: Start pumping and carving berms on our beginner pump track and work your way up from small tables to huge doubles. The Trenches have different jump lines for riders of all ability levels.

EVERGREEN BOWL

Our SNOWBOARD PROGRAM focuses on learning tricks with style. We spend the morning on snow and the afternoon is focused on your individual progression back on snow or inside The Bunker. Come early in the summer to get a full lift-accessed park, jump-line and multiple jibs; when the snow melts we keep on shredding inside The Bunker.

SKATEBOARD CAMP Designed by our staff and pros, our SKATEBOARD PROGRAM focuses on skills, balance and style. After the daily group instruction sessions, attention is turned toward skaters’ individual tricks. Instructors are stationed throughout the Woodward Tahoe campus and you can ride the facility of your choice.

Campers of all different ability levels are invited to shred our parks with some of the best staff and pros in the business.

Surrounded by the best action sports facilities and athletes, our program focuses on video production and gives you the opportunity to build your filming and editing skills. Our instructors help guide your passion and give you the tools needed to learn the process of filmmaking. TRAVEL & TRANSPORTATION: Woodward Tahoe provides transportation to and from the Reno International Airport and Truckee bus/train station. The Camp Office must receive your transportation form and full payment at least two weeks prior to arrival. Additional fees and requirements apply, especially for unaccompanied minors, so be sure to read our Camp Handbook prior to booking travel.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: Woodward Tahoe provides full and partial schol-arships to financially challenged families. Applications and requirements can be found at woodwardtahoe.com.
