Quota clubs have existed since Quota International was founded in 1919 in Buffalo, NY. in themidst of an era of female suppression, Wanda Fret Joiner realized that women had a tremendouscontribution to make to their communities and invited like-minded women to join the QuotaClub .

Worcester's Quota Club began in 1925. Quota Clubs are involved in a wide range of serviceprojects with special emphasis in the areas of hearing a speech.

Scope and Con ten t

The collection contains the papers and records of Worcester Quota Club. Records include;Secretaty's,'Treastffer's,'Tresident's; and Annual Reports. Papers include! Fundraising records.Membership reports. Special projects. Conference Reports and Awards. Quota Club scrapbookscovering events from 1980s - 1990s. Many photographs of events also included.
