Hi Sarah, I remember meeting you at a tiny pop up stall for BB in 2010 and having a chat. What a long way BB has come since then! What is one thing you attribute to B.B’s international online success? I truly believe our success can be attributed to caring about our customers, we care about who is shopping at our store, not just about making the biggest profit, we really value our relationship with customers. How do you keep work/life balance in this industry? There is no such thing – work your ass off until you get what you want. I think you have to work hard for what you want. I'm lucky
that I have supportive people around me, so I don't feel like I'm in this alone. I think it's really good to have people around you, to pick you up and always support you. Why did you want to work in fashion? I didn't – I just wanted to have a cool boutique. A cool space of rad things, and I believe I have achieved that with BB. Tips for people starting a label or store? It's a lot harder than you think it is – so make sure you are prepared! I think people think it's going to be really easy and glamorous, but they are kidding themselves. If you are passionate enough about what you want to achieve, you will get there. www.beginningboutique.com.au

“My painting process is based on intuition and emotion I'm
affected and inspired by every piece of visual information
that crosses my path. Whether that be a book, magazine,
landscapes, cities, fashion or food. It's exciting to think of all
the possibilities and to see the culmination of a finished piece
as a sort of biography of that day.” Britt Turner
The eclectic new collection by Emerging

Our Lifestyle Journalist Dom Pendleton, Reviews Brisbane’s, Comfort at my Table
True to form the comforts of Milton’s Comfort at my Table, was the ultimate indulgent Sunday brunch. Big on the Brisbane food scene, Comfort is the place you go to treat yourself or friends to a delicious homemade recipe of French Brioche at a very affordable price.
The customised breakfast menu is nothing short of the classic eggs benedict, which drizzles perfection by offering a hollandaise to remember. Comfort does something different every fortnight by ensuring specials that never miss the mark on breakfast innovation.
There is plenty of room for a date for two or large group of friends so be sure to book on weekends to secure your spot. For the kind of comfort both Grandma and the weekend warrior love to splurge on. If you haven’t found Comfort at my Table on foodie directory, Urbanspoon - then take this humble foodies advice, and spend your next breakfast in delight.
Comfort at my Table is located at Shop 5/19-23 Cribb St, Milton. Bookings are essential on

After her debut album, Born to Die the mythical Lana Del Rey has announced the much-awaited release of a follow up album, titled Ultraviolence. She has already released one track off the album and is set to release another in the coming weeks, called West Coast. W.O.T.S are BIG Lana fans and we cannot wait to see what she does next, especially since we thought Born to Die might have possibly been her first and last album.
Lana’s sound is so unique and she has such contemporary melodies and lyrics. It will be hard
to top her debut album and her Epic movie tracks like Young and Beautiful but it seems there’s nothing this lady can’t do! The Album is set to be released in May and hopefully an Australian tour will be on the cards.

With Lily and Bronte from Word on the Street Press currently planning a USA trip we wanted to know the COOLEST spots to go in San Fran and New York City.
W.O.T.S’ Lily spent two amazing months in USA last year and has been dying to return ever since!
She said that, “NYC totally surpassed all my prior expectations and blew them out of the water with its awesomeness, it is insane!” But her #1 moment was the Bushwick Block Party in Brooklyn.
Melbourne PR girl, Zoe K told Word on the Street “New York is Mind blowing- my favorite place in ALL of USA is a cute Jazz club in SOHO NYC.”
She said that Flying into San Fran is like nothing else in the world because it feels like you are about to land in the water and the runway is like a pier.
“Getting off the plane and into the streets is amazing, all the little houses made me feel like I was at home in Melbourne and it is such a cozy city.”
Both the girls agreed on their favorite spots being Ashbury Street and Haight Street because of the op shops and street art. Zoe also loved the pretty little town called Sausalito, which is a little European and much warmer than San Fran. Written by Bronte Ryan and photos from Ash MacFarlane.
