NEW! Pitch Perfect: Three Secret Weapons for Successful Pitches, Presentations, and CommunicationsSuccessful presentations for pitching or persuasion contain several key secret weapons that make them stellar. strategic component that is overlooked. It’s the one tool that will help students win more money, build a community of backers, believers, and evangelists, and demonstrate their commitment to the vision, as well as to their brand.

The goal of a startup pitch is to drive investment, establish a brand, or encourage partnering. And, importantly, bring a vision to life! General InterestNEW! Enrolled Agent Review CourseEnrolled Agents (EA) are tax practitioners licensed by the Department of the Treasury. The EA license is the highest credential the IRS awards tax prac-titioners. The EA is allowed to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS: examina-tion, collection and appeals.

EAs have expansive career possibilities. Unlike traditional CPAs and tax attorneys, EAs are tested directly by the IRS. As such, they focus exclusively on tax accounting, which enables them to find employment in small and large public accounting firms, law firms and corporate accounting depart-ments, state departments of revenue, investment firms and banks. Becoming an EA is also a path to self-employment. EAs who start their own busi-nesses offer taxpayer representation during audits, they serve as tax consultants, and they can prepare the full spectrum of tax returns.

This course has been designed to help partici-pants learn about various aspects of the Internal Revenue Code, tax preparation and representation. It is offered as a review course in preparation for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam (SEE), which is needed to earn a federal EA license. Taking the SEE is not a requirement of this course. No educational prerequisites or professional experience is needed to take this EA Review Course. Go to www.irs.gov, then click on “For Tax Pros” then “Enrolled Agents” to learn more about being an enrolled agent and the enrollment exam.

This course does not include required textbooks with approximate cost of $499. Participants will need to purchase their own materials from Gleim.com.
