Task:
Renaissance North West : Sustainable Futures Fund
Aim: Increase sustainability
Using the fund to work with Greater Manchester Museums Group to ensure that they have a relevant legacy post Renaissance and to ensure they have the resources to continue in the future.
Greater Manchester Museum Group (GMMG)
• GMMG historically provided a forum for museum professionals to share good practice and work based issues
• Renaissance involvement in recent years meant that GMMG is now more strategic
• Senior managers group, ensuring that museums in Greater Manchester can be discussed at a high level
• During past eighteen months GMMG has been focusing on three projects that feed into the aims of the Sustainable Futures Fund. The three projects are themed around shared services
