The aggregate number of agents only in company RGS totals 65 thousand persons. Agency sales are the basic channel for

distribution of retail products for all insurers in the Russian market.

The agency channel of sales only develops together with development of an agency infrastructure. It is promoted also by credit brokers who help Russians with a choice of credit products, and importance of development of the channel is connected with rather low level of financial literacy of the population and strategic requirement for its increase.

The tour operator as the customer does rounds, redeems numbers in hotels and buys places in the plane, and tourist agencies and travel agents sell these rounds. Therefore it is possible to speak about 100 percentage participation of intermediaries in this market where as the agent can act both the legal body, and physical (sales through sites, etc.)

In the market of rent to 90 percent of real estate it is realized through agencies and agents, and in the purchase market the primary real estate is on sale at the expense of agents only for 10 percent though the secondary market depends on this channel almost completely (to 95 percent).
