    Sub: Proposal for On Site one Day Workshop Training Program on VLSI

    Design.

    Dear Sir,

    We would like to introduce ourselves as Advance Technology based at Chandigarh, is a leadingcompany with Design & Development of various Embedded Software & Hardware Solution for Various

    Public sector & Govt. Research organizations.

    We want to organize 1 Days Workshop programs, which can be being organized by Advance Technology.

    Following is the list of training programs which is being organized by us. Please find our technical

    syllabus.

    This program will help your students to develop their skills on different Technology & Campus

    Placements.

    It will be strictly as per PTU coverage with our real time hardware on VLSI (fpga cpld) kit. This program

    will be covering the Experiments for Lab BTEC- 605.

    OBJECTIVE

    Gain appropriate knowledge of various Technologies. Ability to understand the Technology and evaluate the project and required components. Develop a Road Map/Career plan/Strategy for Campus Placement. Understanding and Support for overall development to address these challenges.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND

    This program will be suitable for students of Electronic/Instrumentation/ Background as well as Faculty

    members.

    Minimum Strength should be 30

    Internal architecture of each device, difference between PLDS & ASIC. Various

    applications of PLDS & ASIC.6

    HDLs: Introduction to HDL languages.7

    Introduction to EDA Tools (XILINX ISE, ISE Simulator & Modelism)8

    Implementation and simulation of simple programs (using Boolean equations)

    9 Introduction to VLSI universal board and its different peripherals and implementationof simple programs on board

    10Interfacing with seven segments.

    11Design of 0 to 9 and 00 to 99 counter, up/down counter on seven segment

    12Interfacing with LCD and use of its different commands

    13Interfacing with relay, buzzer.
