INTRODUCTION:

Ethical hacking and Ethical hacker are terms used to describe hacking performed by

a company or individual to help identify potential threats on a computer or network. An ethical

hacker attempts to bypass system security and search for any weak points that could be exploited

by malicious hackers. This information is then used by the organization to improve the system

security, in an effort to minimize or eliminate any potential attacks.

OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP:

IEEE student chapter of KLUniversity inaugurated a two day workshop on “Ethical Hacking”.

The specific objectives of the workshop were to bring up deliberation on present technologies

used for hacking personal accounts, websites of companies or professional societies. Few of the

specific objectives of the workshop are given below:

What is first step will the hackers look for?

Loop holes in our accounts and websites and how we need solve it.

How we need secure from them.

How to check that we are in secure position or not

What type of software’s we need to install

How to secure from anti-virus.

INGURATION OF WORKSHOP:

The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest D.Sai Satish, CEO of Indian Servers, Chancellor

Dr. M Ramamoorthy, WIE Counsellor Dr.S.V.N.L.Lalitha, Associate professor D.Narasimha Rao and

IEEE|KLUSB Chairman A.Thrikaran Vamshi .In the opening remarks Dr M Ramamoorthy addressed

the gathering and suggested the need of learning about hacking and how to secure personal

accounts.The Chief Guest for the occasion D.Sai Satish light on the hacking development now a days

and he also mentioned how secure from hacking.

STRUCTURE OF THE WORKSHOP:

This was a two day workshop. The workshop was divided into day wise sessions, there

were 4 sessions altogether handled by the D.Sai Satish, CEO of Indian Servers. By the end of

workshop day participants had rigorous case study exercises.
