Workshop evaluations April –

September 2014

Considerations

• 25% of participants gave their role as ‘other’, moving forward we need to record the detail behind this

• Some registered partners are delivering workshops to a high proportion of coaches (88% of attendees in some instances), we therefore need to reinforce the target audience to these partners. However, overall there was a 17% decrease in the number of coaches attending workshops in quarter 2, compared to quarter 1 and a 13% increase in both the number of care workers and those stating their role as ‘other’ in quarter 2.

• Email / newsletter was the most common way for participants to hear about the training. As a result we need to support registered partners with email and newsletter content and help them to maximise promotion through other channels.

• Proving information about local opportunities is the weakest area in the evaluation (received the most negative responses in all related questions), therefore we need to support registered partners and tutors more with this.

• For all questions relating to what was learnt at the workshop, parents and guardians gave the most negative responses. Project group to look how best to support

tailoring of the workshop to specific audiences.
