a. To determine the National TB Prevalence in Indonesia
b. To collect data on knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) toward TB among population aged 15 years and above
c. To collect data on TB natural history and preventive measures in population aged <15 years old

2. Tuberculin surveyObjective:
1. To estimate the prevalence of tuberculous infection among
children attending first, second and third classes of primary
schools in each of the selected provinces.
2. To compute annual risk of tuberculous infection for the
estimated prevalence

Objectives:
a. To develop cause of death reporting
mechanisms within the vital registration
system.
b. Monitoring the MDG targets related to TB
through generating cause specific mortality
statistics as evidence for policy formulation
and resource allocation.
