Season 2010 was my first, when I competed on whole circuit.
Actually it was:
Maribor(SLO) Fort William(GBR)
Leogang(AUT)
Champery(SUI)
Val di Sole(ITA)
Windham(USA).
I finished top50 overall, that was my goal for the season when it started. It was 48th place by
the end of the season. I als in all the events, but unfortunately I fell a lot
in final runs.
1 | Maribor
Maribor was pretty hard race. All days of riding were totally wet. I had really bad crash in
qualification, but I advanced. I was confident after 12th split time in quali. Missed line in first
woods costs me a crash. I have to be happy with 42nd place. Im mot ivated for upcomingraces.

2 | Fort William
I think this was my 4th time in FW. The course here got changed for this year a little. It was
more rough than ever. This type of track is not my favorite. I didn t reach anything better
that 51st place after doing a couple of small mistakes.

3 | Leogang
Rain is back after one race on dry (surprisingly FW, Scotland). Huge loads of mud and water
on the course. There were two flat pedally parts which were real hell in those conditions. I
felt pretty good on my bike. I did 25th in quali and I was confident for the finals.
Unfortunately I fell again. 69th place didn t satisfied me.

4 | Champery
The extreme of extremes in the world of downhill racing. Just 1600m long course with the
vertical drop of 600m. The course was better prepared than the last time in 2007 when the
first world cup took place in here. More jumps, berms, better prepared as a whole. Training
was pretty dry first day, but. After that it turned into a deep, muddy survival fight. It was the
most hardcore conditions in which I ve ever ridden. It was basically unable to control your
bike. You had to have a pretty big load of luck to stay on the bike. I didn t have. 71st place.

5 | Val di Sole
The course is on my favorite list for sure. I did a few races there already. Big dust-banks are
covering whole course when it is dry. It wasn t for the first day of training. I felt terrible on my
bike, crashed a bit, so I managed not to ride more than 2 runs. Next morning the sun was outand the course began to dry. I chose my lines pretty well and did 27th in quali. I got confident
again for top30. Bad luck again, damn. 43rd with a crash.

6 | Windham
World Cup finals moved across the ocean USA. WC took place at Windham for the first
time. The course have the world cup feeling for me at the first try. It is not too long,
not steep too much. I got familiarized with that after a few runs and everything was workingwell. When the race day began, I crashed very hard in the morning training run. It took me a
while to decide that I m able to ride down the remaining part of the course. Finally, I started
the finals and paradoxically I did my best WC result of a season 32nd.
