About the World History & Cultures Corner
• The examples of children’s literature are multicultural, historical fiction, informational, fantasy and picture books. I tried choosing books that would be appropriate for 2nd-5th grade. Most of them have a theme, for example: Middle Eastern, Chinese, Japanese and so on.
• For the games and media, I have found some fun and appropriate activities for student learning.
• The literature, games and various forms of media would definitely help students gain a better understanding their world and the thematic strands of social studies.
