Pour acheter vos tickets : mettez vous dos au CRAC, marchez jusqu’au pont sur votre droite, traversez le : juste en face du restaurant l’Amiral vous verrez le bateau rouge Aquarius. C’est à sa billetterie que vous pourrez acheter vos pass WF Boat ! To buy your tickets: facing away from the CRAC, walk up to the bridge on your right and cross over it: then, opposite the Amiral restaurant you’ll see the red boat called the Aqua-rius. At its ticket office you can buy your WF boat passes!

Flying CatFlying Cat est le leader de la location de vélos électriques sur la ville de Sète. Cette année seront disponibles encore plus de vélos électriques pour les festivaliers avec Flying Cat. Et en plus, Flying cat vous invite à découvrir l’histoire de l’ostréiculture de l’étang de thau pour une ballade sur l’étang de Thau en bateau avec Croisière Bleue...

Awesome Tapes From AfricaMercredi - Wednesday - 17h00 - C.r.a.cAlors qu’il étudiait la scène locale du Ghana pour ses études, Brian a découvert les marchands de cassettes du coin. Il a très vite réalisé qu’il avait mis la main sur des trou-vailles qui n’avaient pas leur équivalent dans le monde, et a décidé de les mettre en ligne sur un blog brillamment appelé Awesome Tapes From Africa. Depuis, le blog rassemble un nombre incroyable de followers...While researching the local music scene in Ghana on a Fulbright scholarship, Brian disco-vered the regional cassette tape merchants. Upon listening and realizing that the music was often unlike anything else going in the globe, he decided to put some of the songs up on a blog he eloquently dubbed Awesome Tapes From Africa. Thus began the eternal quest for strange, and quite often incredible african cassettes. Since then, the blog has developed a cult following, and Shimkovitz often finds himself DJing his collection at parties all over the globe.

Que ce soit dans son show ou lors de ses sets, il nous invite à un voyage à travers le monde du clubbing. Entre broken beat, hip-hop, house, garage, jazz, soul ou Detroit techno, vous trouverez votre bonheur... Benjamin Benstead, known as Benji B, is a British DJ and radio presenter. His radio shows and DJ sets are musical journeys unique in club-land. He blends tunes from all genres of underground music whether it be broken beat, hip-hop, house, garage, jazz, soul or Detroit techno. Always reaching for the deeper side of the music with an ear open to the future, the soulful element is what links the tunes.

Dam Funk LiveDimanche - Sunday Beach Party - 16H30Dâm-Funk est Le producteur de L.A. à suivre en ce moment. Cet obsédé du funk et du boo-gie - «Music man first, selector second» - a ressucité le boogie, style en vogue à la fin des 70’s début 80’s, alors que les instruments electroniques et le disco eclipsaient le funk, et ses mor-ceaux sont également influencés par la house de Chicago, la musique electro expérimentale et le gangsta rap des 90’s. LA funkateer Dâm-Funk is hot right now. The funk and boogie obsessive - ‘Music man first, selector second’- has resurrected the genre of boogie, which got big in the late 1970s and early 1980s, as electro-nic instruments and disco smoothed out funk’s grit, but his songs are also influenced by Chicago house, experimental electronic music and the slow roll of ‘90s gangsta rap. Channeling the past Dâm-Funk brings funk back to the future!

Cut Chemist Jeudi - Thursday - 02h00 - St ChristCut Chemist doit forcément vous rappeler quelque chose. Pas seulement parce que son CV est une véritable ôde à ce qui se fait de plus novateur (il a été derrière les sons de Jurassic 5 et Ozomatli, associé à Dj Shadow pour les Brainfreeze et Product Placement mixes, remixer et turntablist par excellence), mais aussi parce qu’il se remet sans cesse en question et qu’il re-pousse les limites du djing en permanence.Cut Chemist is the kind of fellow whose name rings some serious bells around our way. David RodiganJeudi - Thursday - 22h45 - St ChristA 15 ans, David Rodigan a commencé à mixer aux fêtes de son école et dans les clubs pour jeunes - et à presque 60 ans, il ne montre aucun signe de fatigue. L’homme possède des disques pour lesquels certains djs vendraient père et mère. On a affaire ici à un vrai expert du reggae. Lors des trente dernières années, Rodigan est devenu une véritable légende du genre, et une figure respectée.At 15, David Rodigan started DJing at school dances and youth clubs – and at nearly 60, he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Whether it’s collecting soundboy scalps on the clash circuit, juggling dubplates other selectors would sell their grandmas for, or edutaining entire generations of dancehall revellers world-wide with his legendary sets and speeches, the “Gentleman Rudeboy” is a true reggae rocker for life. In the past 30 years, Rodigan has grown to become a true legend in the reggae world, a respected father figure for many an aspiring soundboy, and a dreaded dominator in countless dubplate battles.

Derrick CarterSamedi - Saturday - St Christ - 02h15Né à Chicago, Derrick Carter est considéré comme l’un des meilleurs djs house au monde. Si ses sets trouvent leurs racines dans la house, l’homme n’a pas peur de voyager à travers les genres, et incorpore à ses mixes des saveurs old-school disco, soul, jazz...Chicago born Derrick Carter is regarded as one of the best underground house key players around. Derrick´s sets are rooted in house, but he freely travels outside club tastes, seamlessly incorporating old–school disco, soul, jazz, and whatever else catches his fancy..

MC DynamiteJeudi & Vendredi - Thursday & Friday - St ChristPrincipalement connu pour ses participations au sein du crew Roni Size Reprazent, qui lui ont valu un Mercury prize en 97, il a depuis collaboré avec High Contrast, Skitz, Scratch Perverts et beaucoup d’autres tout en ayant son projet solo. Dynamite MC utilise sa voix comme un instrument, adaptant sa vitesse aux BPM comme s’il faisait partie de la musique, avec un penchant pour les performances freestyle qui lui permet de maintenir la fluidité qui caractérise ses sets.Best known for his vocals as part of the Roni Size/Reprazent crew which won him a share of a Mercury prize in 97, he’s since got on to collaborate with High Contrast, Skitz, Scratch Perverts and many more as well as working on a solo project. Dynamite MC manages to play with his voice, changing speeds, following BPMs as if he was part of them, with an emphasis on freestyle performance which allows him to maintain the characteristic fluidity of his sets.

GarfldMercredi - Wednesday - 13h00 - C.r.a.cAmateur de toutes les musiques, graphiste, rédac-chef du WF magazine, dj dans l’under-ground depuis plus de quinze ans, Garfld est un véritable soldat multicartes du Worldwide Festival. Il est aussi un des djs les plus anglais et éclectiques de la scène française. Finding a suitable space and gathering a hungry crowd eager to have their minds blown by obscure records, and this time it’s not Marie Queenie Lyons 45s but music from Disco Fuentes, MAG, Philips in Africa and a myriad of completely unknown labels.

Il est un des résidents du Worldwide Festival et a récemment joué aux côtés de Theo Parrish, Juan McLean, Shit Robot, Tim Sweeney & Jonny Sender (Konk)... il vient de réaliser le deuxième volet d’une compilation pour la marque Sessùn qui s’appelle Sessùn Songs Collection II et vient de créer son propre label: Hollie Records.Based in Paris, Sundae splits his time between music and graphic arts and has been one of the WF resi-dent DJs since the first edition of the festival. Sundae will bring you on a journey from NY disco to Detroit house. Make sure you come with him, the guy is a class act.

Pour le WF, le crew Boiler Room prépare une session spéciale en compagnie du gang Young Turks, un label londonien basé à Ladbroke Grove, lancé en 2006...The talent-packed Boiler Room has become the focus of music bloggers as well as broadcast DJs and performers, who spin their stuff in a dark room, hidden within a derelict warehouse. ‘It’s basically an extension, or even evolution, of London’s rich pirate radio culture. For the WF the Boiler Room crew is planning a special session vs the Young Turks gang, a Ladbroke Grove, London based record label started in 2006.
