Worship and Praise Service
June 5, 2016
Welcome to worship at First Chris�an Church!
Each week we offer two different worship services:
8:15 am service features tradi�onal worship and
10:45 am service features modern worship.
Kent Hickerson (8:15am) and Greg Taylor (10:45am)
will share the communion and offering devo�ons.
When communion is served, we invite all Christ
Followers to par�cipate, partaking of the bread as it
is passed and retaining the cup un�l we can all
partake together.
This Sunday begins an eight week look at the book of
Acts. Today, Greg Taylor, will be bringing us a
message from Acts 2 en�tled, “The Birthday.”
At 9:30am, Bible School classes for all ages meet
throughout the FCC building.
We have several Sunday School classes from 9:30am-10:30am that can
provide an opportunity for you to get be�er connected with our FCC
family. Find a class that fits best for you, and ask a volunteer at the
informa&on desk to help you locate your classroom.

During construc&on, Faith Builders & Crusaders will be mee&ng in the
Family Life Center during the Sunday School hour.
Sunday School for children is located in the First Kids space, junior high
students gather in the Cable Building, and high school students gather
in The Edge.

This summer a women’s Bible study will be meeting on
Thursday nights at 7pm in the Family Life Center. They
will be doing a Jennie Allen study entitled, Chase. The
cost of the book is $8. This study is open to women of all
ages! If you would like to order a book or have any

IF:Table will not be meeting this summer. We will
resume our regular monthly schedule starting

FCC will be offering free blood pressure checks

Just a reminder that we need your help with getting
areas ready for Next Steps renovations beginning June
13. We need help a few hours in the afternoon on June
6-10 and Saturday, June 11. If you are able to help,
please sign up in the office, 935-3139. Thanks for your
support of our Next Steps building program.
It’s “Take a Stake” time again!! This is an
opportunity for you to take a stake in the next
generation by becoming a prayer partner and
paying $40 - $75 towards a high school
student’s CIY Move trip. Stop by our “Take a
Stake” wall right outside the sanctuary today!
On June 12, we will have our congregational
meeting to vote on Elders. This year Mark Witz-
ke and Dana Korneman have been nominated to
serve as Elders. We will have more information
about each nominee in next weeks bulletin, but if
you have any questions please see Greg Taylor
or Russ Utterback.
Junior High Ministry
JH Sunday School meets from 9:30am - 10:30am in the Cable Building
Project Facelift starts Monday!! This takes place during VBS from 9am - 11:30am Please pick up a form at the information booth or in the church office or sign up Monday morning. Hope you will join us!
