Wow! What a year! I am very

honoured to have been Principal of

our wonderful school in 2017. It has

been a year of highlights– successes in

the classroom, on the field and court,

in the pool, and at competitions.

Most importantly, it has been a year

where I have seen delightful students

engaged in their learning, co-

operating with their peers and doing

their best.

To Year 6, good luck and all the best

for High School; you will be missed!

To our very generous sponsors (listed on the inside back cover) of

this magazine, many thanks. Without your support this magazine

could not be published.

To the school community: the staff, students, parents, carers and

families, my sincere thanks for a wonderful year; you are the best!

I wish everyone a very relaxing, festive and safe

Christmas and look forward to seeing you all next

year.

Dream Jar

My dream is about when I went invisible

and scared everyone all over the world.

Of course they couldn’t see me, but they

could see my clothes, so they were so,

so, so scared. It was like I had super

runners on because they were running

away so, so, so fast. I scared them so, so,

so much, and then Mum yelled out,

“Time for school.”

My Dream Jar

In my dream there is no school. One day I

was walking to school. When I got to

school it wasn’t there. In fact all of the

schools in the world had disappeared! It

got a bit boring but I played gta5 on the

The Dream Maker

One night the dream maker went down to his

lab to make a dream. The dream was about a

rich person. It was a man that liked machinery

and loved cricket. He had 2 trucks and they

were both Kenworths. They were t904 and

k200.

He lived in a mansion on a farm. The house

was 5 storeys high. One of the storeys was a

cricket ground. The second floor was a truck

room. The third room was a gun and target

room, and the last two were footy ovals.

The Queen should help Sophie and

the BFG to stop the giants from

eating the human beings. If they

don’t, there won’t be any kids left!

Parents and families will miss them

and it’s also very cruel.

If giants eat children, their parents

and families will miss them a lot.

That would be terrible because

parents and families are nice to

children.

If they keep eating the children,

there won’t be any children left.

Giants eating children is very cruel!

By Ava T

I clearly believe that the giants should

stop eating human beings. If they eat the

kids there will be no kids left in the world.

The giants would take over the world and

parents would miss their kids.

I strongly believe that if the giants eat

the kids, there would not be any kids left

in the world. If there is no more human

beings, the world would be destroyed.

If the giants take over the world, they

will destroy the world. After they eat all

the human beings there won’t be any

more humans left. This would destroy the

world and the giants would take over.

That is why I believe the giants should

stop eating human beings.

My Dream Jar

I would love the BFG to send

me a dream to be the best

hunter in the world.

By Mitchell

Giants should not eat human beings. I absolutely believe that giants shouldn’t eat little girls and boys.

The parents of eaten children and family friends will miss them. If the giants eat human beings, the giants will take over the world. If giants take over the world they will build big shops and houses.

The Queen should help Sophie and the BFG stop the giants eating little girls and boys. Giants should not eat girls and boys. What have the girls and boys done to the giants? So the giants should not eat the kids.

I absolutely believe that the giants should eat animals, not the kids. The kids have friends and a life, and parents and family, so I say the giants should not eat the kids.

That is why the Queen should help the BFG and Sophie, to stop the giants eating the kids.

By Bella

I certainly believe that the Queen should help Sophie and the BFG stop the giants from eating human beings. My arguments are there won’t be any children left, the giants will take over the world and parent’s will miss them.

I strongly believe that the children will become extinct forever and it will be scary if the giants eat them.

I strongly believe that giants will take over the world and all the children will make them fat, and they will be overweight and they won’t be able to walk around.

The worst thing the giants could do is make the families miss their children. For sure they will come at the children. The giants will eat them like fish.

I strongly believe that these are some good reasons that the Queen should help Sophie and the BFG stop the giants from eating the children.

By Harry

I strongly believe that the Queen should not help Sophie and the Big Friendly Giant stop the mean gruesome giants from eating all the kids. Giant’s deserve food too, but should not just take people out of their beds. They should just ask the kids if they want to be eaten or not. If they want to be eaten they can eat on the spot. If they do not want to be eaten, the giants leave them. A way for giants to get food is for the giants to eat criminals that are in jail. That is a good way to put the giants to good use. Another way for the giants to get food is for the giants to eat other giants for food, instead of having people for breakfast lunch and dinner. That’s what I believe. Giants can eat giants, and giants can eat criminals.

By Fletcher

I strongly believe the Queen should help Sophie and the BFG stop the Giants from eating human beings because there will not be any human beings left. Their carers will miss them, and giants will take over the world. I certainly believe that children’s carers will wake up in the morning thinking it is not very loud inside. If the giants keep eating kids, when old people die, there will not be any kids to grow up. I also believe that there will not be any kids left in the world. So if people die there will be no-one left. That is why the Queen should help Sophie and the BFG save human beings. So please help us Queen. By Ellie

By Lily-Kate

I strongly believe the Queen should not

let the humans see the BFG anymore.

The humans can be stepped on and

squished. The parents will miss their

children and get upset. Absolutely the

Queen should not let the humans see

the BFG because when the children

have to go home they will be upset.
