Hope Loftis hosted four segments

for our local program. Dr. John

Witt (Medical Director at TriStar

Skyline Comprehensive Stroke

Center) spoke on aphasia. Aphasia

is a communication disorder that

can affect speaking, reading,

and/or writing skills, often caused

suddenly by stroke and head

injury, or gradually over time,

like dementia. Dr. Stephen

Loyd (Medical Director of the Tennessee Department of

Mental Health and Substance Abuse) spoke on opioid

addiction in Tennessee, noting that the stigma of

painkiller addiction is often high, and people do not go

for help even though this addiction is treatable. Dr.

David Montgomery (Cumberland Family Practice) spoke

about men’s health issues and the importance of daily

exercise, eating properly, and taking care of general

health. He noted that most men do not do this. Trisha

Johnson (Director of Forest Conservation, The Nature

Conservancy – Tennessee) talked about forest conservation in Tennessee, noting that over half of Tennessee

is covered in trees. Pictured clockwise from top right: Hope Loftis with Dr. David Montgomery; Hope Loftis with Dr. Stephen Loyd; Hope Loftis with Dr. John Witt; Hope Loftis with Trisha Johnson

Jason Crabb hosted a special

program featuring the

Harmony Honors, in which Les

Beasley, Executive Producer

of the Gospel Singing Jubilee

series, was honored. The

Jubilee backdrop from the

very first program was

brought in for this special

occasion and our lighting team

did a phenomenal job with the

set. Jason and Gerald Wolfe

shared stories throughout the program and videos

played highlighting southern gospel singing groups

that were an influence for today’s groups in the

music ministry. Many artists payed tribute to the

honoree, including Goodman Revival, The Nelons,

Freedom Quartet, Three Bridges, Inspirations,

The Dixie Echoes, LeFevre Quartet, The Rambos,

Ronnie Hinson, and Karen Peck and New River.

Clarke Beasley shared the accomplishments of his

father, Les, and presented him with the Harmony

Honors award. It was a wonderful night of

southern gospel music that ended with Amber Nelon singing, “How Great Thou Art” and then

everyone joining her on stage to sing, “Robe and Crown.”

Land Experience with my 80 plu year old mom a few years ago and we enjoyed it immensely. Tomorrow she celebrates her

90th birthday and we are visiting Trinity Music City. We have had an awesome time here! Bonnie, Rick and Rob have been

great! I wouldn’t replace them for the world. We took the breathtaking tour with Wanette, and she was great as well. May

God bless all of you for your service to Him. What a spirit of excellence!”

We have tour groups from all over the

We were all saddened at the news about Ms Jan’s passing, but we are so thankful that we know she is

with Jesus and is able to worship Him face to face with her dear husband, Dr. Crouch.
