My sincerest desire is to help you “wrap up” your products and product collections before Hallow-een. That way you are ready for those upcoming Christmas Sales and you also set yourself up for

offering a layaway program to your customers.

It’s easier for me to choose a color(s) theme for holiday products. If you are going with a color theme, do coordinate your supplies to match. My color theme this year is all bright colors in pink,

turquoise, lime green, purple & red. I am also using either polka dots, stripes or solids in the wrap-ping/tissue paper. MK @ Play just calls for candy type wrap.

You will find my product wrapping ideas, all the labels that I used are tucked inside this guide. The tent style cards and MK @ Play labels are in a separate attachment. I just pick 10-12 ideas to run

with each year.

You will see one or two “oldie but goodie” ideas in this brochure. I’m sorry to say I don’t know who to give credit to for those. Thank you for sharing! I have used them with much success throughout

the years.

TIP: Because I do provide complimentary gift wrapping services, I work to be a smart business-woman & spend as little as possible on my gift wrap while still making gifts appealing & beautiful. I

encourage you not spend more than 5% of your profit on gift wrapping embellishments. Example #1: The MK @ Play products retail for $10 each. Our profit is $5 each.

Gift wrapping expense should be no more than $.25. Example #2: The retail cost of the All Over Hydration set is $58. Our profit is $29.

Gift wrapping expense should be no more than $1.45. Sometimes I do have to add an additional 1—2%, but I always try not to.

If I do add in slippers or something similar, I do add that into the cost. I hope this guideline helps you to have a profitable Christmas selling season.

After all, we’re smarter to invest our money in products vs. gift wrapping supplies.

Jelly Ranchers Supplies Needed: Jelly Lip Glosses 5 3/4” x 4” Gift Wrap-I coordinated mine to match the

name. I used green for the Teddy Bare 10 1/2 x 4 3/4” Clear Cello with white polka dots Jelly Rancher Label Curling ribbon

Wrap gloss in paper just like wrapping a normal gift. Affix label on with tape so it doesn’t show. Over wrap with cello leaving the ends of the cello about 2” longer on each side. Tie up ends with curling ribbon.

Baked Eye Trios Eye Pops

Supplies Needed: Baked Eye Trios 10” x 5” Gift Wrap 10” x 5” Clear Cello Label for back to identify

product color. Curling ribbon 7 1/2” slim wooden sticks

Place stick on back of product with 2 glue dots. Place gift wrap over cello. Lay product on top and fold over at the top to meet at stick. Fold sides down & around to the back. Tape. Tie with curling ribbon. Add label to back.

Eye and Lip Crayons Stick Candy

Supplies Needed: MK @ Play Lip & Eye Crayons 10 1/2” x 3” Gift Wrap 10 1/2” x 3” Clear Cello Label for back or coordinating

ribbon to identify product color Curling ribbon Buttons if desired.

Place gift wrap over cello. Wrap gift leaving one end open. Tie up with curling ribbon. Hot glue but-ton. (I found buttons at Hobby Lobby)


Purple Passion Supplies Needed: Plum Lash Love Mascara, On The Horizon Baked Eye

Trio and Purple Smoke MK @ Play Eye Crayon Container, tissue paper or peanuts Cello Bag to fit Shred

Ribbon or Deco Mesh For Bow High Heel Ornament found at Hobby Lobby

Fill container with peanuts or tissue. Slip container inside cello bag. Add products and boxes glue dotting together if necessary. Tuck shred all around. Tie up with bow and high heel ornament.

Green Goddess

Use same supplies as Purple Passion except

for the products & ornament, I used a green one found at

Hobby Lobby. Green Lash Love Mascara, Earth Bound Baked Eye Trio and Green Tea MK @ Play Eye Crayon

Lash Spa Supplies Needed:

Lash Primer, Lash & Brow Building Serum & Lash Love Black Mascara

Container, tissue paper or peanuts

Cello Bag to fit Shred Ribbon For Bow Additional embellishments

Fill container with peanuts or tissue. Slip container inside cello bag. Add products and boxes glue dotting together if necessary. Tuck shred all around. Tie up with bow. I used a box and tied the lid into the bow. Wouldn’t this set be great in a martini glass too?

The Perfect Lip Tini

Glue dot a green pompon to the bottom of a lip gloss. Tuck

gloss inside martini glass.

Fill with Shred. Place in cello bag and tie up the top with a

fun bow. Attach the gift tag.


Thinking of You Supplies Needed:

Thinking of You Gift Collection 8 x 10 Frame found at Dollar

Tree Cello Bag to fit Shred Ribbon For Bow Desired embellishments Thinking of you insert for

frame printed on blue paper or better yet, put a photo of you with someone you love and show off to your customers. Tell them you’re happy to insert a photo to customize the gift just for them. (I’m making one for my daughter, Mom & Mom-In-Law for Christmas this

year.) Open frame and cut a paper towel roll to fit between frame and stand flap. Insert in cello bag. Cover entire bottom with shred disguising the roll. Take out the gift card from the pendant. Set aside. Glue dot products together & to the frame. Glue dot pendant to top of frame. Seal up with a bow tucking the Co. gift card in the bow for your customers to sign.

Magic Eye Wand Supplies Needed:

Eye Wand Mini Wand found at Hobby

Lobby Organza or Tulle & Tissue Ribbon For Bow Desired Embellishments

Glue dot wand on eye wand. Wrap in tissue. Overwrap with tulle or organza. Tie with bow & attached embellishments

Fairy Tales & Fantasy Supplies Needed:

Eye Wand, Kohl Eyeliner and Lip Stain Clear Glass Vase Cello Bag to fit Shred Ribbon For Bow Magic Wand & Glass Slipper

Fill container with shred. Place vase inside cello bag leaving top open. Add Eyeliner, Lip Stain and product boxes, glue dotting together if needed. Glue dot the eye wand inside the glass slipper. Glue dot glass slipper to edge of vase. Tuck in the magic wand. Tie bow around middle of vase.

Gloss Slipper

I put bling around the slipper. Glue dot gloss in glass slipper, Wrap in tulle & tie with a bow.


After Fiesta Supplies Needed:

Eye Revitalizer, Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover & Indulge Soothing Eye Gel

Clear Beverage Glass Cello Bag to fit Garland & Party Horn Wrapping Paper, curling ribbon, deco mesh & fun pick

Fill container with garland. Wrap each product in bright shiny paper. I used red. Tuck products & pick into glass. Place glass inside cello bag leaving top open. Tie party horn into bow and attach to glass.

OR why not tuck it all in a lovely coffee cup along with a packet of coffee. Thank you Susie Rodgers for that idea.

Toasty Tingly Toes Supplies Needed:

Energizing Lotion for feet & legs. Cute slippers Cello Bag and ribbon

Remove lotion from box. Tuck box into slippers first then add lotion. Slip in cello bag and tie up with a bow.

All Over Hydration Set or

The Mother In Law Set Supplies Needed:

2-In-1 Body Wash & Shave, Hydrating Lotion, Satin Lips Balm, Hand Cream & Energizing Foot Lotion

Clear Serving Tray Netted Body Sponge or

fluffy washcloths Deco Mesh for bow Slip tray in cello bag. Glue dot all products to tray along with empty boxes. Add netted sponge or washcloths. Tie up with bow. This is the perfect gift for any woman, wouldn’t you agree?

Men’s Fragrance Travel Set Burlap ribbon Curling ribbon No need to wrap the box. Thanks MK for the perfect box. Just add a burlap bow and some curling ribbon. Do have an extra set to show. Don’t forget the full size, they’re perfect for a guys pillow gift.

Lip Savers 2 styles Supplies Needed:

Satin Lips Set Toilet Paper Roll Striped wrapping paper Clear cello Ribbon Aluminum Foil Tuck Satin lips set inside toilet paper roll. Stuff ends with tissue. Either wrap in foil or wrap with wrapping paper as per photos. Add Lip Savers label and cover with clear cello. Sizes of wrapping paper & cello will vary according to the size of cardboard rolls. For the Texas size, you can offer any of our lip products that will fit inside. I really prefer to wrap in foil and fold up the ends like lifesaver candies are, that way you can change products if you want.

Tips:

When Christmas is over, hit the sales for next year. Buy up ribbon & embellishments. Shop from yourself for your personal gift giving needs. You not only get to shop for

1/2 price, you also support our Co. Plus, if a friend or family member receives it and loves it, you have a new reorder customer.

Treat your Mary Kay business as a job. Period.

Resist the temptation to embezzle. Replace the products on your shelf first. Do carry a basket full of wrapped gifts to every appointment. Ask your clients for referrals who would love to receive gifts wrapped up and ready to go with

no shopping hassle. Get in the Christmas spirit by giving your customers an inexpensive gift from you. Be sure to have products on hand so you can deliver on demand. If you don’t have it, you can’t

sell it. Utilize wish lists and husbands names on profile cards. Put a Christmas product display up in your home. Everyone that passes through will see

it and you’ll increase your sales. Do include your business card in each gift along with $10 complimentary makeover coupon. Can’t wrap? Purchase inexpensive gift bags. It’s fun to choose just one kind & make it your

signature bag. Fill with products, tissue & tie up the handles with a bow. Spray the tissue with a fragrance. Add your business card, fragrance sample & complimentary $10 makeover coupon.
