Writing About the Course

Why are you applying for your chosen course? I have had a passion for music ever since I started learning the piano at 6 years of age. I have considered studying other subjects at university such as Modern Languages or Mathematics with Music being a hobby to keep on the side or something to fall back on, but with further thought I came to the conclusion that I wanted to study Music as I can see myself having a successful career in it. This specific course stood out for me because of its individuality. It allows you to specialise in whatever part of music you want to in the second and third years. This appealed to me as other universities didnt give this option, and stated that students must study a 3 year course as it is written.
