INTRODUCTION

This guide will show you how to restore headlights that are turning yellow and faded.

TOOLS:3M Headlight Restoration Kit & Protectant (1)Nitrile Disposable Gloves (1)Masking Tape (1)Power Drill (1)

Step 1 — Tape Area around headlight

use two layers of masking tape to protect to vehicles paint

Step 2 — 500 Grit Sandpaper

Using the supplied 500 grit sandpaper and drill adapter , evenly sand the entire headlight.

Do not apply too much pressure and maintain a relatively moderate drill speed (1200-1600 RPM)

I removed the sand paper and finished it by hand to reach any areas near the edges.




Step 3 — 800 Grit Sandpaper

Using the supplied 800 gritsandpaper and drill adapter , evenlysand the entire headlight.

Do not apply too much pressure andmaintain a relatively moderate drillspeed (1200-1600 RPM)

I removed the sanding paper andfinished it by hand to reach anyareas near the edges.

Step 4 — 3000 Grit Wet Sanding Pad

Apply some water to the sanding pad and evenly polish the headlight.




Step 5 — Rubbing Compound

Using the soft pad and rubbing compound ,polish entire headlight.

Apply a dime sized amount of compound on pad and spread around headlight to prevent splashingof the compound.

Step 6 — Finished Results!

Looks awesome!
