His credits include appearances in the audiences of such hit Broadway shows as Phantom of The Opera, Miss Saigon, Book of Mormon and Cy Coleman’s The Life. When not on stage he enjoys his alternate career in movie marketing, studio recording, songwriting, photography, gardening and his beloved Bernese Mountain Dog named Carson. He sends his love to his amazing family and wonderful friends who have been so supportive of his quest for performing, as well as the to the cast and crew of this production of 12 Angry Jurors for sharing their incredible talents and friendship with him. Visit him online at www.ariskakkis.net. Adron Duell (Juror #2) Adron is a graduate of Chapman University's BFA Theatre Perfor-mance program. This is his first post-college production and he is excited to be a part of 12 Angry Jurors. Janet Lee (Juror #3) Janet Lee, a Los Angeles native, has been in several productions in the local LA theatre scene. She trained under the Emmy award-winning actor and master teacher Fran Montano and with Irene Muzzy at the Actors Workout Studio specializing in the Meisner Technique. A trained dancer, she was featured in the popular Filipino major network TV show Wil Time Bigtime. She spent nearly a decade working in advertising and discovered that life is just too short to have an uninspired life. She is pursuing her acting dream and building her career. Steven West (Juror #4) Steven is no stranger to your television or the silver screen. You’ve seen him in The Space Cowboys, The Bold and the Beautiful, Bring It On, All or Nothing, Bring It On Again, Walking Across Egypt, The Confession, in a recurring role on the television series Sheena, and on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. Steven is proud to return to the CSHPlayhouse, where he was last seen in The Meeting. Jake Osgard (Juror #5) Jake has been performing since his freshman year of high school. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida but quickly made Los Angeles his home when he moved there to attend Pitzer College, double majoring in English and Economics. In addition to acting, Jake also works as a model for State Management. Mackayla Hill (Juror #6) This is Mackayla's fourth show with the CSHP. She has been seen in The Theory of Relativity, A Piece of My Heart, and Urinetown. She graduated from the New York Film Academy which is what brought her to California from Colorado where she studied and taught acting at local theaters. She is excited to be a juror in this show and work with this community again. Ephraim Eshete (Juror #7) Ephraim Eshete has been performing throughout high school and college in productions like The Odd Couple (Felix) and Measure for Measure (Angelo). He takes part in theatre competitions, earning command performances and was a finalist at KCACTF in 2016. Ephraim has a Minor in Theatre from UCR and studied under Doug Tompos for six months in LA after graduating. He can't wait to play with this cast and tell this story. Sierra N. Smith (Juror #8) Sierra N. Smith hails from the Boogie Down Bronx and has made L.A. her home after moving here for graduate school. She has worked on the business side of the entertainment industry in the International Publicity department at Paramount Pictures, before switching into TV production for shows such as FX's Snowfall. Sierra has finally taken her big leap of faith to pursue her career as an actor. This past January, she entered acting classes at The Sanford Meisner Center in Burbank. She is thoroughly excited to play Juror number eight. This is her theatrical debut.

Creative Team

Marshelle Giggles-Mills (Director, CSHP Board Member) Marshelle Giggles-Mills is an awkward, bohemian, tree hugging writer and theatre artist born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, by way of Louisiana and Texas. A 3-year Granted Artist of the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, her favorite works in the director’s chair include for colored girls, Fool for Love, and the west coast revival and sold-out run of the award-winning drama Zooman and the Sign. A charter member of the CSHP, Marshelle is known for her love of people, musicals, and distrust of squirrels. She wishes to express love and thanks to her husband Doug and to her babies Rebecca, Austin, and Aaron for their unyielding support. Jessica Worland (Technical Director, Production Design and Construction) It was in a psychology class that Jessica first saw the 1957 version of the movie 12 Angry Men as a demonstration of conformity/groupthink, and it has been one of her favorite plays ever since. The story is timeless, fascinating, and, in many ways, more necessary now than ever. She's thrilled to finally have a chance to bring it to the CSHP stage! She would like to thank her sister-in-law, Christine, for her invaluable help and her adoring husband, Matt, for jumping into this crazy world with her. Jessica's previous CSHP credits include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Once On This Island, A Piece of My Heart, and The Theory of Relativity. Brittany Joy Sundman (Stage Manager) Brittany has been working as stage manager at the CSHP for the past year, and she couldn’t be more thrilled to work with this wonderful theater company again. Brittany has been involved in the theater world in various roles from the age of 11 and worked as a theater technician at Pepperdine University. She lives in Los Angeles with her more talented half, Kyle (a CSHP alum), in a home where the cats outnumber the humans. In her free time, Brittany enjoys coloring hair, playing board games and ‘90s video games, practicing photography, and re-watching her favorite sitcoms for the 100th time. We hope you enjoy the show!

Production Team

Creative Team Matthew Worland (Production Coordinator, Bailiff) Matt does a lot of things, but theater . . . theatre . . . this usually isn't one of them. He is glad to be working with CSHP in his first official capacity beyond "Dr. Tall Person" and is excited that it is on such a timely and relevant play. When not doing his best ficus impression, Matt enjoys spending time with his far more creatively talented wife Jessica (it says so right here in this program), playing team sports and board games, and running at a very slow pace. Savannah Van Leuvan (Lighting Design) Savannah is an actor and lighting designer from Berkeley, CA. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts with focuses in acting and lighting design from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She was recently seen in the CSHP’s production of Urinetown as Little Becky Two Shoes, in addition to designing the lights for the show. Lighting design credits include Cabaret at Debatable Productions in Burbank, Little Women and Into the Woods at Camarillo Skyway Playhouse, Nutcracker at Contessi Ballet in Petaluma. You can visit her online at www.savannahvanleuvan.com Suzanne Ryan (Producer, CSHP Board Member) 12 Angry Jurors is a timely and com-pelling story, showing us the best and the worst of human nature, and how standing for the truth can absolutely make the difference between life and death. It also shows us that the truth has the power to change us as humans—for the better. May we all become better as we stand up for the truth. I hope you enjoy the show!
