Advertising does work

A few weeks ago Barbara Allnut lost her measure. After two adverts in the Wrong Bias her measure was found and returned to Barbara. Thank you to the alert person who returned it to Barbara.

Anne Searancke Isabelle Hassall

Congratulations to Anne & Isabelle who on Sunday won the Women’s Club Pairs

For 1-10 year Bowlers

Robyn Gundesen Nanette Crowe Robyn & Nanette were the only qualifiers and accordingly have been declared the winners of the Women’s Senior Pairs

Blight Cup for Men

On Sunday the long established Cup for annual competition between Tawa, Tawa Services, Titahi Bay, and the combined team of Porirua City/Plimmerton was held. Each Club played 12 games and the result was.

10 wins Titahi Bay 7½ wins Tawa Services 3½ wins Tawa 3 wins Porirua City/Plimmerton

Tawa was the previous holder of the Cup and our President Paul McEnaney presented the Cup to Titahi Bay.

The Host Club this year was Porirua City and they deserve a huge vote of thanks for being the absolute best Host one could image. Many of their members worked tirelessly all day to make all participating Bowlers feel very special. Without a doubt the best Host Club the Editor can recall for a very long time. Thank you Porirua City.
