•Light is beautiful but disastrous for many animals

•It is impossible to say which colour of light is good for all animal species.

•Research has shown that the least impact on all animal species is a colour temperature less than 3000 Kelvin.

•People are also increasingly bothered by an overkill of light

•If we want to do something about it, we first have to make people aware of the beauty of the night.
