Outstanding School Fees: All outstanding fees MUST be settled between 10th Jan – 14th Jan (Mon-Fri before 3pm). Student with outstanding fee(s) WILL NOT receive the ORIGINAL RESULTS SLIP .(Only a photocopy will be given)

Submit Applications to JCs (L1R5 ≤20), MI (Pre-U) (L1R4 ≤20), Polytechnics (ELR2B2 ≤26) and ITE Higher Nitec (EL, Math, B1) via JAE and JPSAE using O-Level Results.

held over a period of 5 calendar days, starting from 3.00 pm on 10 Jan to 4.00 pm on 14 Jan 2013

Registration Process Online application through JAE-IS at http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/jae Eligible applicants who sat for the 2012 GCE O-Level Exam will receive ‘Form A’. Form A will list: (i) YOUR GCE O-Level Exam Results; (ii) Courses YOU are eligible to apply for under

JAE; and (iii)YOUR JAE-PIN (YOUR PASSWORD) to

access online registration system)

Registration Process YOU are STRONGLY advised to complete the course application worksheet (provided in FORM A and JAE Info Booklet) before submitting online application on the JAE-IS. You should be able to complete applications on JAAE-IS in < 15min Get ready this information before JAE-IS

NRIC/ FIN Mobile Number if you wish to receive results of JAE through SMS

WSS will make the computers in the library available for YOU during the registration period.

Application Fee • $7 for 1st application • $10 for amendment of choice(s) to submitted application • Only 1 amendment is allowed. • All JAE application fee will only be collected after the exercise, by the institution (i.e. JC, MI, Polyt or ITE) that YOU are eventually enrolled in.

Joint Polytechnic Special Admission Exercise (i) Registration period: 3.00 pm on 10 Jan to 4.00 pm on 14

Jan 2013

(ii) YOU can CONCURRENTLY apply to both JAE and JPSAE. Successful applicants may be offered courses under both JAE and JPSAE. YOU can decide to accept one of the two offers and exercise it during the enrolment period set by the poly.

(iii) The JPSAE allow poly to consider applicants based on a broader measure of merits beyond performance in GCE O-Level Exams. Under JPSAE, each poly will be able to admit up to 5% of their annual intake of students based on their special talents and aptitude. Each poly will have the discretion to determine its modes of assessing YOU.

APPEAL FOR REVIEW OF RESULTS Please take note that candidates who do not

have a strong ground for submitting an appeal should be discouraged from doing so.

$102.70 per appeal per subject. APPEAL FORM is available at the G.O. Deadline: 14 Jan 2013. Detailed Information can be found at the G.O.

Re-Admission of 2012 GCE ‘O’ Level Pupils to School (for Compliance) YOU are allowed to repeat Sec 4E or 5N if YOU satisfy ALL the criteria below: Obtained not more than 2 GCE ‘O’ Level passes +

an aggregate < 45 in 6 Subjects. CCA may be considered as one of the 6 subjects. OR Obtained 3 or more GCE ‘O’ Level passes

(excluding CCA) but do not qualify for admission to the Pre-U course (L1R4 ≤ 20).

Re-Admission of 2012 GCE ‘O’ Level Pupils to School (for Compliance)

Had been enrolled in a Government School

or Government-aided school in 2012 Had been under 20 years of age on 1 Jan

2013 (i.e. born after 1 Jan 1992) Had attempted the GCE ‘O’ Level Exam for

the FIRST time in 2012.

Application Procedures to REPEAT ‘O’ Levels Eligible pupils who wish to repeat 4E or 5N should complete the application form (Annex A, collect from the General Office) and submit to school: Between 1st and 5th working day from

10th Jan 2013

Application Procedures to REPEAT ‘O’ Levels 1st to 5th working day from date of release of JAE

posting results (tentatively end Jan 2013) YOU must arrange to meet the Principal with the

application form before the actual submission of the form to the General Office.

YOUR admission into WSS as a repeat student is

subjected to availability of vacancy. All the above information will be posted outside the General Office from 10th Jan 2013 – 14th Jan 2013.
