Building Family Leaders

Welcome to the Indiana Family Portal. This web-based training portal allows Indiana families to identify and develop leadership skills in their areas of interest so that Indiana families are empowered to lead, advocate

and engage as partners in their child's lives and the systems that serve their children. This leadership development program is brought to you through collaboration between the Health Services, Family Voices Indiana and Riley Child Development Center, along with the support of over 20 community partner agencies. This training format allows you to work through the leadership development exercises at your own pace. We know you will gain valuable insights into yourself as a leader by completing the training modules. To get started, you will spend some time exploring your leadership qualities. Your first step is to complete a leadership self assessment, so just have a seat on the bench to get started!

Their child is the same child s/he was before the diagnosis; we just have new ways to support the child

INDIANASystems and Services
