November has been another hectic month! What with the Cub Scout Quiz, the

Scout Cooking Competition, an Expedition Training Weekend for Explorer Scouts

and Network Members going to India and preparations for our County Christmas

Dinner (tickets still available) on the 1st December we seem to have had some-

thing for nearly everybody this month! Preparations are now also well underway

for our 65th Birthday celebrations in 2013 -

events for all sections and a service of cele-

bration in June 2013 are just one or two of

the things for you to look out for. Our

65th Birthday celebrations are a chance to

remember those events and people who

have made us what we are today - a

strong and vibrant Scouting County -

proud and respectful of our heritage. You will hear more about 2013 events in the

near future. Also watch out for the Keighley Gang Show this month - talent galore

on display as our young people take to the stage to entertain us all. Good Luck to

everybody! So, I wish you all the best for Scouting over the next month - no doubt

Christmas will bring it's own raft of challenges! By the way, watch out for the

Beaver & Cub Christingle on the 8th December at the Piece Hall in Halifax. It should

be a great event when our youngest members come together to share the

excitement of the Christmas season. Whatever you do, enjoy your Scouting.
