The story so far In the last couple of years Xchange Scotland has been working alongside Sense over Sectarianism, delivering 31 workshops with young people in Greater Glasgow, exploring the topic of sectarianism through th e creative Loesje poster wri tin g techni que. hroughout the se two previous pro!ects, a lot of inspiring and thought provo king poster s were created and exhibited across Glasgow. he current pro!ect " Make Sectarianism a History Lesson # is funded by the $cottish Government and is allowing us to meet and collaborate with gr oups we haven%t worked with before& fr om ' year s old kids (Plantation Productions) to young carers ( South West Glasgow Young Carers) and adults groups (such as GAMH  or Galgael ). hrough the work done so far, we have had to ask ourselves& what are we talking about whe n we tal k abo ut sectarianism  *e have learned that there are as many ways of unders ta nding th e to pic as there are people in Glasgow. !ringing toge ther communit" me mbers and organisations having a positive impact in their area has proved a good way of taking this forward. Project Highlights *e+ve been using resources and spaces from everyday life (e.g. food and sub way stations) as loud-speakers% to spread the messages of the groups we have been working with to thousands of people. *e+re exploring sectarianism across generations (from ' to - years old) through creativity& poster writing, !igsaws, discussions, etc The next step  "Sectarianism doesn#t ha$$en an"more# or "%t&s not as bad as it used to be in the $ast # are some common statements we hear during the sessions. /ut why should we settle for not as bad as the past%0 s
