December 2010
On November 19th, grades 9th- 12th
attended a special Mass for our
“Changing Your World” retreat. Af-
ter the Mass the students and faculty
walked down to the Knights of Co-
lumbus where we had guest speaker,
Sister Regina Ann Brummel speak to
us. Sister Regina Ann had us write down a memory to get in
touch with ourselves. After we all shared, we watched a mu-
sic video. After our Thanksgiving lunch that was provided by
Mrs. Powers and the lunch room staff, the students split up
into 3 groups; creative writing, shirt design, and skits. Once
we came together as a whole group we all shared our accom-
plishments, then wrapped it up after a closing prayer and
walked back to school. The retreat was an overall success,
the students had fun, learned a lot, and may have even came
a little closer as a student body. We all look forward to the
retreat next year. God Bless!

On November 18th, the school
put on a pep rally for the upcoming
basketball season. One of the activi-
ties that was presented at the pep
rally was a very exciting students ver-
sus teachers basketball game that ul-
timately resulted in a tie score. These
cheerleaders, along with the rest of
their squad put on a cheer presenta-
tion. The Cheerleaders also got the
students in the stands involved by do-
ing a free throw shooting contest for
all grades. On behalf of the newslet-
ter staff, thank you for your participa-
tion. Good luck this season and,
Good Luck Rams!
On Thursday November 11th in
honor of veterans day, the stu-
dents attended a morning assem-
bly where they listened to a few
veterans. The students were also
interested to find out that one
student is currently in military
service, Ellie Mendoza.
God Bless all our veterans.

November 5th, the STUCO put on a
dance for grades 9-12. The dance
started at 7:00 p.m. and ended at
10:00 p.m. There was a $1 or food
donation admittance fee. There were
roughly twenty-five students in atten-
dance. The evening started and
ended in good fun. The music was
cool with a lot of vari-
ety. Everyone had a great time danc-
ing. Kudos to Benedict Flores, Dj
Ben-d! Students and teachers alike en-
joyed dancing the night away or just
hanging out with friends. We’re all
looking forward to the next dance
thrown by Stucco. Good job and
thanks for the fun!

As Time Goes On
Failure isn’t failure anymore, it’s just a disappointment to all: Adults, Young Adults, Children, Toddlers and
Babies, but that’s life and no one can do anything about it except for the one person in the world which is you!
There’s only one you in this world. Even if you have a twin, twins have different personalities, so step up and
defend your friends and maybe your enemies. Word of advice: Turn the other cheek! Even if someone hurts
you, just turn the other cheek, sooner or later they will get tired of “smacking” you and they will stop. Don’t
let anyone take your time to learn away from you, they have no right to!
