Registration for Religious Education Classes is now open for kids/youth 4yrs through the 12th grade for the 2021-2022 year. Why Eucharistic Adoration? Have you ever attended Eucharistic Adoration here at St. Stephen? Do you realize it is offered for you? Eucharistic Adoration is the practice of worship before the tabernacle, keeping the Lord company. This means spending time with the Lord at least one hour a week. Silenced Prayer can include moments of adoration, contrition, & thanksgiving, as well as petitions. For every hour we give Him, He showers us with many gifts including peace of mind and heart. You may visit our Lord (Blessed Sacrament) from Monday through Thursday from 9:00am – 3:00pm, and Friday 9:00-11:45am, close for noon Mass. Please consider joining us in our holy prayer time.

Knights of Columbus Council 9514 of St. Bernard is sponsoring a bus trip to see the show "Jesus" at the Sight and Sound Theater in Branson. The trip will be on Friday September 17th for the 3:30pm performance. This will be a fund raiser for the K of C and the cost of the trip is $89 per person and will include bus transportation and reserved seating at the show. Jubilee Mass – A Mass of Thanksgiving will be concelebrated at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, June 29th at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock to honor Rev. John Oswald (60 years), Rev. Joseph Pallo (60 years), Rev. John K. Antony, JCL (25 years), Rev. Eric Groner (25 years), Rev. John Lewandowski (25 years), and Rev. James Ibeh, CSSp (25 years) on their anniversary of priestly ordination. Senior priests will be honored during this Mass as well. Sacred Heart Prayer
Jesus, Son of God and our Savior, have mercy on all
who wound your Sacred Heart by sin, unfaithfulness
and neglect. O loving Heart of Jesus, broken by our
ingratitude, pierced by our sins, yet loving us still,
accept in reparation the suffering I now make to you
of all that I am and all that I have. Draw me ever
nearer to your Sacred Heart: there where I can learn
best, teach me, Jesus, your blessed way to eternal life.
