User-friendly features foreective evidence handling

XProtect Express is powered by XProtect Smart Client, an operator inter-

face that has a rich feature set for viewing cameras, investigating incidents

and exporting evidence. Adaptable for users of dierent skill levels, XProtect

Smart Client gives access to all integrated third-party software. XProtect

Express also supports XProtect Web Client, a simplied web-based user

interface that gives access to all of the most commonly used functions, such

as viewing, playing back and sharing video.

Collecting video evidence is easy with search tools that help locate video

quickly. The Sequence Explorer shows thumbnail previews of captured

video and time intervals, allowing users to browse through recorded video

to nd incidents. Smart Search is a feature for searching for motion in one or

more selected areas of images from a particular camera.

With XProtect Smart Client, evidence can be exported in multiple formats,

and comments can be added to a complete export or to an export from an

individual camera. Evidence can also be shared quickly in JPEG or AVI

format using XProtect Web Client.

video to systems and manage them all through one interface. Integration into XProtect Smart Client enables users to moni-

tor and control all of the systems in a surveillance installation, such as license plate recognition, video analytics, point-of-sale(POS) and people counting. A unied client application is not only more ecient, it also requires less training for new personnel.
