TIS THE SEASON FOR PROMS, GRADUATIONS & WEDDINGS
The University Club is available for these “Special” celebrations. Contact Patricia Bunner or Kathy Logsdon for more information.852-0160
Dear Member,
I must share with you that the turbulent times at UofL are creating a very concerning problem when attempting to manage finances at the Club. All of our revenue streams are down dramatically, impacting the wellbeing of the University Club. The Club’s Board of Directors have instructed me to send you a personal letter offering a more in-depth explanation of these challenges. More than ever before, we need your support to help map out our future. We believe that after you have a better understanding of the severity of this situation, you will step up and generously donate funds to this great not-for-profit organization.
In moving on, I don’t know about you, but it will sure make me happier once we get through this winter. The days have been cold, wet, and gloomy. To make things worse, it seems like everyone has been dealing with illnesses.
We sincerely appreciate your support, as we enjoy the opportunity to visit with many of you during the member’s special events. The brunches have become quite popular and the lenten season always fosters great attendance at our seafood nights and fish frys. In closing, watch for ballots for the Board of Directors elections and vote for your preferred candidate. Please remember to consider the University Club as your first choice when donating funds to your favorite not-for–profit organization.
Best Regards,Bill
