Welcome to Aloha Located in the Golf Valley, Nueva Andalucía,
Marbella, Aloha is a Members club that has one of
the most beautiful and outstanding golf courses in
Spain.
The course designer was Javier Arana, who had
a keen eye for the technical and strategic needs of a
top golf course.
Aloha hosted the Andalucian Open (PGA
European Tour) in 2007, 2008 and 2012, and stands
as a reference point for both professional and
amateurs who wish to enjoy the real essence of golf.
During the weekend of the Pro-Am we hope
you will also enjoy the excellent cuisine of our
restaurant Cipriano-Aloha Golf and the other
services offered by our Club.
Letter from the President
Dear Members and friends,
In November we will celebrate the latest edition of the ‘Charity Pro-Am Memorial Andres Jimenez’. This is the twenty fourth time the tournament has been held under this title. For the previous twelve years it was run in honour of, and in the name of, Salvador Balbuena. This means we have been raising funds for various charities, and celebrating this great competition, for a total of 36 years .
It is very gratifying to be President of a Club where the members demonstrate their generosity by offering the Club facilities for charity events and take an active part in the tournament. Their great support to all charity events over the years is worthy of praise.
I would also like to highlight the dedication and generosity of the golf professionals who come to play every year. They are the essence of the Pro-Am and I want to thank all of them, especially our dear Miguel Angel Jimenez, who will honour us again with his participation.
The contribution of employees and sponsors has been essential for the success of our Pro-am. The Club employees try every year to improve the preparations and the organization, and without the generosity of the sponsors it would hardly be possible to achieve the main goal of this competition: to help people in need.
I am convinced that this year will again be a success especially given we have already received numerous requests to participate.
I look forward to welcoming you again to our Club in November.

Letter from Miguel Ángel Jiménez
Dear Members and friends of Aloha Golf,
I write this words to congratulate to Aloha, its Members and Staff once again, for the effort and dedication dedicated to this
new edition of the PRO-AM in memory of the great Master Andres Jimenez -previously held on behalf of another great player,
Salvador Balbuena until 1991- and to all the charity events the Club organizes during the year.
We can be proud of organizing the most prestige Pro-Am in Spain, to which all the amateurs players all over the country are
awaiting impatiently every year.
You all know about my loyalty with all of you, and I am very sorry, and really appreciate it as well, that you adapt the dates of
the Pro-Am every year to my competitions’ calendar.
I have felt very much not attending to the 40th Anniversary Dinner of the Club, and I only wish we all continue maturing with
the concord we deserve, with new ideas and projects that make Aloha the reference Golf Club in our beloved Costa del Sol.

Letter from Andrés Jiménez
Pro-Am Memorial Andres Jimenez is considered the most important tournament of Aloha as well as being a classic in the Costa del Sol.
It is a competition that brings together almost two hundred players, and is held at the end of the season to count with the majority of
the professionals. I would like to highlight the effort they always make not miss this appointment, as well as to thank their collaboration,
and in particular that from Miguel Angel Jiménez, who joins us every year despite his tight agenda.
This year we celebrate the twenty fourth edition of the Pro-Am under this name. Since the first edition held in 1991, a year after my
father Andrés Jiménez passed away –the first Greenkeeper of Aloha and Professional since its Foundation-, we have not missed one year
to this appointment.
For me and my family it is a great honour and satisfaction that Aloha Golf Club keeps this event on its competition calendar, and from
here we would like to send you our gratitude because our father's name is still present in the world of Golf.
I would like to emphasize the charity nature of this competition, devoting full gains to charitable foundations and organizations in our
area every year.
To end, I want to thank members for their generosity and love that always show towards this competition, to the employees of the
Club as well, for their always excellent work, and also to the participants and sponsors for their support. All of them make it possible to
make the Memorial Andrés Jiménez a success every year.

History of the Pro-Am
Ours was the first charity Pro-am held in Andalucia. In the year 1979, following the sudden death of Mr. Salvador Balbuena, a group of professional colleagues, along with Mr. Angel de la Riva and Enrique Canales, decided to organize this competition in order to allocate the funds raised to help his widow and children. Thus the charity Pro-Am Memorial Salvador Balbuena was born that year, in honour and support of this great person and relevant professional for the Spanish golf during those years. Since then, the most renowned Spanish golf professionals have come together every year in December, at the Aloha Golf Club, to support the charitable causes with their participation, that are the real raison d'être of this Championship. Up to 1990 the amount collected each year was given to the Balbuena family. It was in 1991 when, after the death of the Greenkeeper and Professional of Aloha, Mr. Andrés Jiménez, our Pro-Am was renamed as Memorial Andres Jimenez, and the collection were then given to his widow and children.

From 1995 the Pro-Am, which still retains its inherent condition of charity competition, has been intended for helping local charitable purposes, such as Nueva Andalucía Catholic Church, Doctors Without Frontiers, the Association for the fight against Cancer, Caritas Marbella, Aspandem, Horizonte Proyecto Hombre, Foundation Angel Rivière against autism, among others, being these last two beneficiaries of the last edition.
This year 2015 the Pro-Am celebrates its 36th edition, and as always we will try to present our Course in the best possible conditions and offer participants an excellent golf and restoration service.
With this edition we complete 36 years of constant contribution to good causes, and from here we want to show our appreciation to all who have made this possible: Aloha members, employees, sponsors and especially the professionals, who already regard this competition as a must on their agendas

Description of the competition
The "Memorial Andrés Jiménez" charity
Pro-Am is a tournament organized by Aloha Golf
Club. It has been held since almost the Club was
founded and this year we celebrate the 36th
edition.
It is an Invitational Pro-Am in which Aloha
Golf Club invites professionals to participate. They
can either bring their own team or the Club will
assign them one.
There is a maximum of 44 teams made up
by a professional and three amateur players.
• Place: Aloha Golf Club
• Date: 28th & 29th November, 2015 (Saturday
and Sunday).
Registration rights for amateur players (per
individual):
Aloha Golf Club Members, € 260
Non-members of Aloha Golf Club, € 450
Registration includes:
Practice round (subject to availability). Greenfee of the Competition. Invitation to the Presentation Dinner and
closing cocktail. Breakfast and buffet lunch when the team
plays in the morning. Welcome gift Handicaps: limited to handicap 18.0
Description of the competition
Registration:
From 22th October until 2:00 p.m. of Friday 20th
November 2015, personally in the offices of the

How to play:
The Pro-Am will be played to 36 holes, in two
consecutive days, under Better-Ball Medal Play,
counting the two best results of the components of
the team on each hole.
Individual Professional Championship: 36 holes on
two consecutive days.

Presentation Dinner
On Friday 27th at 8:00 p.m. will be held the Presentation’s Dinner of the XXXVI Charity Pro-Am “Memorial Andres Jimenez”, to which all the Teams are invited. The presentation will be in charge of our beloved Álvaro Beamonte, the Golf Pro and commentator of Canal+ Golf. This presentation dinner is compulsory and free for all professionals and amateurs inscribed in the Pro-Am. Requires the use of jacket (not being necessary the use of tie) for men and cocktail dress for ladies. Participants will receive a welcome pack from the Organization when they arrive to the Club. At the end of the dinner will start the traditional charity auction, which once again will be led by our dear Toni Dalli.

A Message to Sponsors
The charity Pro-Am Memorial Andres Jimenez, has been graced
by professionals such as Gonzalo Fernandez Castaño, Santiago Luna,
Alvaro Quirós, and of course Miguel Angel Jiménez, who is with us
every year. Thanks to the great reputation that it has among the
golfing community in Marbella and throughout Europe, the Pro-am is
a very attractive event for sponsors. You have the opportunity to
present your products to the players and visitors who will attend the
event over the weekend.
Aloha Golf Club offers to sponsors the following options:
Club House, €1,000 Putting Green, €1,000 Driving Range, €1,000 Holes 1, 9 or 18, €1,000 Other holes, €800 Logo inscription on the Official Polo of the Pro-Am, €2,500
(limited option)
A Message to Sponsors
Corporate sponsors will display posters and advertising material in the hole or sponsored area, as well as deliver promotional material to the players. The image and brand of your company will appear in the photocall and background documentation of the Tournament, so you should send your logo sign to the Tournament Office before November 15th.. Corporate sponsors will receive an invoice from Club de Golf Aloha for sponsorship and registration of a team for tax deductions.
The formalities for the sponsorship must end on 16th November,
the deadline for sending of the logo and the payment of the invoice.
We would like to thank, in advance, all sponsors that decide to
contribute to the Pro-Am.
