COURSE OVERVIEW Radio Frequency - RF is a type of electric current on a wireless network, which emits an electromagnetic field when alternating current is applied to an antenna that is used by many common electronic devices including mobile phones, phone towers, WiFi, and other wireless devices. RF optimization is carried out in order to improve the RF performance with the existing resources. This course builds competence in the principles behind RF optimization applied to modern wireless systems. After completing this course, student will be able to identify common problems of RF optimization, examine RF optimization KPIs, set up mechanical tilt & electrical tilt position of antenna, and optimize GSM & WCDMA network. Duration: 3 days WHO SHOULD ATTEND Individuals and anyone needing a solid foundation for understanding the principles of RF optimization PREREQUISITES Basic understanding of communication network would be benefical.
