This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with National Electric Code and local regulation: To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations, check with your local electrical inspector before installation. This equipment is guaranteed only when used as indicated in these instructions; therefore they should be kept for future reference. To prevent electrical shock, turn off power supply before carrying out any connection or maintenance operations.

STEP 1 Mark the location of the suspension cables on the ceiling using the measurements specific to your configuration.

STEP 2 2.1 Using the supplied Hex key, remove the 2 screws holding the housing together. Remove the top cover.2.2 Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the 2 screws holding the driver plate to the housing and remove this plate.

STEP 3 Depending on the Housing model, mount to the ceiling following instructions below:

For Junction Box mounting3.1 Remove electrical knockout using flathead screwdriver or other tool3.2 Feed the electrical wiring through the knockout opening, and mount the housing to the junction box using appropriate screws (not supplied)

For Pigtail mounting with armored cable (BX)3.1 Remove electrical knockout using flathead screwdriver or other tool3.2 Mark where the mounting hardware will be installed and install appropriate anchors if necessary (not supplied)3.3 Feed armored cable through electrical knockout and fasten to housing3.4 Mount the housing to the ceiling lining up the previous markings using appropriate hardware (not supplied)

Recessed Housing instructions (Skip to Step 4 if installing surface housing)

4.1 Cut appropriate size hole in ceiling to accomodate housing4.2 Feed the electrical wiring through the knockout opening, and secure it 4.3 Insert the housing into the ceiling hole and secure it with the 2 sliding brackets. Lock them in place using the screws.

STEP 5 Install the cable couplers to the ceiling to the marked locations using the proper hardware (not supplied)

STEP 6 6.1 Loosen the gripper tip to allow insertion and insert the suspension cable through the gripper.6.2 Support the fixture to prepare for mounting.6.3 Feed the suspension cables into the coupler, then screw the gripper in. Repeat steps for the other cable.

STEP 7 7.1 Loosen the bottom of the cable gripper in order to adjust fixture height. Pressing on it unlocks cable movement.7.2 Once fixture is level enough, tighten bottom of the cable gripper in order to lock it into position.7.3 Adjust the pitch using the micro adjustments on the fixture.

STEP 8 8.1 Mount the driver plate to the housing, feeding the wires through (applies to both housing types)8.2 Feed the fixture’s power cable through the canopy cover8.3 Cut power cable to length, strip and secure it through the strain relief. Make appropriate connections carefully (some input/output wires share colors)8.4 Mount the housing cover using the screws removed in Step 2.1. Installation is now complete.

NOTE In order to clean the inside of the fixture:1.1 While supporting the fixture body, remove the screws securing the top plate to the body1.2 Remove safety cables on both ends in order to take the body off completely1.3 Clean the fixture. Repeat the previous steps in the reverse order to reinstall body.
